FMG @ the burn 2023

A pleasure and an honor to join Moontribe for the October edition of FMG out in the desert. It was my first time playing (talk about nerves, lol) after attending and learning so much from the MT crew for years. Their 30-year history has had a huge influence on me - my sound, my musical path, the events I throw - in countless ways and I was grateful to join this lineup for a Halloween celebration. 

Enjoy my noon/midday set on Saturday - right between two of my breaks favorites and friends, Brandroid and Bartek. It's a mix of groovy 4/4 and breakbeats to get your day moving :)

Sophia Alexandra is a Toronto based vocalist and DJ.  
With a love for story telling and ear for thoughtful and unique melodies she has found herself in collaboration with a variety of Toronto based producers, including releases with Pick a Piper (‘Sentience’ and ’How It Was Before’ on Tin Angel Records), Spookyfish (‘Afraid of Water’ on DSPRTV Records) and most recently on a Spookyfish / Sun Rain EP collaboration ‘Ideas of Light’ recently released on Deep Heads. 
She is also the vocalist and lyricist in Toronto based band BisonBison.
