"From ashes to light" has been written and recorded in Barichara, a little village in the province of Santander, Colombia. I wrote this song as I was travelling alone for a year throughout Latin America. It expresses the relief of being away from a superficial reality and the experience of lonelieness.

This song has been recorded with the huge help of Augusto Marin for the instrumental arrangement and mixing.
