At our "Gute Stube" @mag-darine played her first more thoughtful and atmospheric set, but still didn't give up her love for breakbeats.

What she wants to add: I talked with @maey_mb and Franz from @djversity about how mood can influence Dj-sets and how much Djs can use them as a form of expression. This one here was definitely something like a Karthasis for me. I really had the feeling that I could tell a story. Of course, that doesn't mean I think it always to be like that. But it was a nice experience

Artist dj annita is known for her genre defying mixes, where intricate off-kilter rhythms don't contradict a sweaty dancefloor. Though nothing is off the table, her sound is mainly centered in the contemporary british club scene - uk bass, uk garage, dubstep, jungle.. you name it. She loves gritty breaks and wobbly bass, hyperpop and cloudcore. Ultra-digital high-pitched voices or the satisfying sound of a scratchy record - annita (as some call her) is driven by the urge to explore the endless facets and shades of (electronic) music and djing and the desire to express emotions through rhythm. She also likes queer feminism, organizing illegal parties and being kind and supportive.
