TEN Presents is the latest mix series to hit Pavilion Festival, paying homage to the former party, hosted by Scotland's best talent and freshest names. 

Last year the TEN Tent was introduced to recapture the iconic energy of the iconic events in Ayr and one of the stand out sets came from Roose.

We had to give him the call up to bring forward the first mix and here's what the man himself had to say:

"So this is the set I played at the festival last year but it's extended out with 2 of my new unreleased tracks. It felt like such a homecoming bringing TEN back and I wanted to make sure I captured the magic and nostalgia from when we did those events."

"It's insane how far Ewan has come from then and I'm super proud of him. I hadn't seen him as much as I used to so it felt great to spend the day with my pal again. Forever grateful for the support  from everyone and the opportunities I've been given. Having everyone pull up and be on the stage with me with full energy was something I'll remember forever. I cannot wait to rip the hole out of it next year. Chez frisun."

This release is a heartfelt tribute to the early-to-mid 2000s jackin' house era - a sound that continues to inspire him today. Rather than simply replicating the past, he set out to capture its raw energy and inject his own unique twist. Born in Tehran, Iran, Ardalan Noghre-Kar possesses a peculiar, fresh perspective on music genesis without even trying. His mixes, remixes and dubs are known for their sass, energy and wickedly wry samples that snap like a wet towel to the face, but his original tracks are where his efforts shine, like those released with Justin Martin-“Mr. Spock,” a 2010 party anthem charted by Diplo and Jesse Rose, and “Lezgo,” charted by Dog Blood (Skrillex and Boyz Noise)-and those soon-to-be-released on his own EP with Dirtybird. It's no wonder he's been given the nod by everyone from Papa Dirtybird himself (Claude Von Stroke) and A-Trak to those who are charting his remixes, like Maya Jane Coles, Audiojack, and Riva Starr, the last of whom he has an upcoming remix for to be released on Snatch.

Ardalan's 'Mr. Good' LP offers an emotional look into the heart and mind of a young artist. It's a coming of age tale that tracks Ardalan as he figures out his sound and creative identity. 

The story unfolds across eleven tracks documenting Ardalan's search for analog perfection. The intricate sound design comes from a collection of hardware Ardalan has built over the years. There are no generic basslines or sample packs involved. Ardalan reaches all the way back to early 2000s while updating the sound with modern mixdowns and clever production tricks. The album is weird yet danceable, classic yet futuristic. 

After watching Ardalan develop his sound and musical career over the years, we're proud to see him turn in this forward-thinking record that pushes his sound to the future.
