“Hebra de luz” (Sorah Rionda, 2015) is the first album of Sorah Rionda (multi-instrumentalist and songwriter). It has been recorded in Italy in collaboration with musicians from Italy and Argentina. 
She is the heiress of melodies weaved into the poetry of the cuban evenings through her great-grandmother’s voice and guitar or learnt among choires and pipes in a sea of ancestral cultures and emotions that come from Africa, Spain, Latin America and Japan. These melodies are melted in her Habana, with her happiness, colours, nostalgia and passioned love. Sorah Rionda tells her origins, story and influences through ancient, folk , cuban and her songs, which gently alternate roles with instruments and sound atmospheres of the celtic, traditional and modern scenery. 
The CD contains also a song by her great-uncle Graciano Gómez (a famous songwriter and instrumentalist of the trova tradicional cubana) that she had combined, as a tribute to the colourful fusion inside the cuban music, with the unmistakable gaita asturiana.
