@galtier returns to his @nostro-hood-system label with a fifth instalment, ‘Opaque Envelopes’, an exploration of frequency and tilted sound processing across four slick, mid-tempo creations.

On 'Bitrate Swamp', textural sub bass flicks and undulates, occupying the same space as processed, low-bitrate slices of hi-hat goodness. The aura is sharp, vicious and ominous, bordering on sheer orotund in nature.
