Biography:
Real name Andrey Afanasiev, originally from the cold Murmansk in Russia. Passion and love for electronic music came in 1996, when Andrey first heard acid techno and acid trance tracks. Since 2000, he acted as only vinyl DJ. Since 2002 he has actively participated in club life. Played on one stage with Burnski (James Burnham), Falko Brocksieper, Dub Taylor and other equally interesting DJs and producers. In 2012, together with his colleague Mød, created a project Aima, that promoting dark industrial techno sound. In 2015 Andrey created the project Ekstendia, that focused on Dub Techno and which today is the main. Ekstendia favors the deep sound of Northern Dub Techno, this is an echo resounding over northern nature. Fog over the endless fields, the breath of the city at night. Cold layered textures and airport sounds. Atmospheric canvas. A leisurely massive sound that takes you far into the depths of consciousness.

1998 Arthur started DJ’ing. In 2002-2004 he took part in organizing rave parties and international electronic music festivals together with Hardskull & Liquid Moon in Armenia. After moving to South of Russia, he started producing his own original music and became a resident in local chill out and lounge bars. Music production is the main thing in Arthur’s life. His production is always based on experiments, psychedelic and personal sound synthesis, although Heavenchord is more about classic dub techno, with heavy chords and tape hiss.

andYUso has been part of the electronic music scene for more than a quarter of a century – driven purely by his passion for music. Based in Berlin, he started DJing back when music still came on vinyl. His musical journey has taken him from DJing to producing and even writing about music – always with an open ear for a wide range of styles.
