GOING OFF w/WOBASE

Will North is a producer, sound designer, recording engineer and DJ based in Brooklyn. In 2008 he became a resident DJ, under the alias SOROKA at Konkrete Jungle, the longest running electronic music weekly party in the US. He has produced and DJ'd for acts including Brand Nubian and Wu-Tang Clan. For three years he co-managed the first Dubstep record label in NYC, Code of Arms and has had dozens of digital and vinyl releases of his own. The music could be described as sharply crafted cinematic and bass heavy fusions of Trap, Soul, Hip-Hop and with influences of Classical, and various EDM styles. This melding of Dub, Twostep, and Dirty-South Hip-Hop began back in 2007 when he co-produced several tracks for the DIRTYSTEP MIXTAPE series. Nowadays he is busy collaborating with a wide array of recording artists and developing his sound pack series, Vast Audio.
