Inspired by down-tempo Psy elements and ambient sounds, Beholdgold, in her mix for Filth Inc, tests out a combination of cool, dark Reggaeton, Electro and Jungle tracks with Arabic undertones and vocals. 

For the first time ever, she premieres her unreleased track “$eatbelt”, which will be released later this year.

"I think sounds that echo or move like waves across our ears and brains have always resonated across our universe. I'd like to think that this sphere we live on is always in motion and is traveling through our cosmos along with hypnotic vibrations that are still filtering out from the big bang. This mix was recorded live at a  warehouse for iykykhifi here in SLC. The empty room that slowly filled to a dancing crowd was perfect to play tracks with intricate sound design and lots of stereo field goodness. This mix was an attempt to capture the way I would want sounds to wash over me especially when being sent out through some tasty Klipsch speakers,setting the mood for a night of techno. I hope you enjoy!"

It's a full circle 85-170bpm journey that moves from cerebral to dub and UKG-infected deep body heaters, to an all-out DnB/Jungle/Harcore crescendo in honor of the late MC Conrad. Including a surprise live MC appearance from Reddablackbrown. With her signature twists, guitar shreds and flips of funkmaster Greg Perry's "The Boogie Man" make an appearance along the way. A much talented purveyor of widescreen electronic epics and mind-expanding techno sceneries, Vera Logdanidi has been trading some of the finest dubs out there, including some outstanding pieces of work for Rhythm Büro, Semantica or On Board Music. All in spacious reverbs and atmospheric deconstructionism, her mixes as much as her own productions seek diffuse effect rather than impactful punch, altering mindsets through carefully orchestrated movements rather than flexing muscles. An origami-like unfolding of mesmerising sequences, ushering us amidst lush forests of sound and distinctive emotional apexes, Vera’s mix is a safe, welcoming haven, here to harbour us from the surrounding crass that threatens to devour the last crumbs of peace and solace in our hearts.

Recorded August 3, 2024 during peak hour Humanaut, it's a blistering Hot Mass debut.
