Mad diving

Grienkho brings his fully analogue production to vinyl for the first time. This echoey, distorted, ambient-techno roller has a squelchy bass you wouldn't believe could come out of analogue kit. Odd, down tempo keys provide the melody and keys masquerading as strings flitter in the background as the beat constantly evolves and hints of euphoria creep in to cap off a thunderous debut.

A high tempo minimal tech number, analogue as always, with vibrating keys underscored by a sparse beat, and an electic mix of vocal and instrumental samples thrown over the top. An extra syncopated rhythm section joins in halfway through, skipping it along with synths and keys providing the melody before crashes of all kinds bring it to a climax.

AG Pini brings in a lower tempo, with punching industrial yet melodic synths coming in and out of sparse rumbling beats it feels like a Kraftwerk track if they had grown up in Detroit.

The Springer is the hardest tune on the E.P – with layers upon layers of crunching beats surrounded by howling, swirling high end synths, looping in and out of each other, putting almost an entire history of dance music in one brutal track.

Wild Oats proudly present the new EP from Kyle Hall entitled “Equanimity”. This release marks the 10 year anniversary of Wild Oats and its only fitting that we celebrate with a release from the label boss himself on tonight's full moon. Along with the engineering treatment from “Chicago's very own" (C.V.O.) deep house legend, Glenn Underground, "Equanimity" takes on a new foundational sound and assembly that inspires some philosophical thoughts below:

Katastematic Pleasure is the epicurean philosophical concept that the magnitude of pleasure reaches its limit at the removal of all pain. In a sonic sense, this connects to the idea of subtractive equalization or the removal of unpleasant frequencies i.e. taking away the part of the sound you don’t enjoy as much, in turn, leaving the pleasurable parts of the sound intact. Katestematic pleasure is about creating cleanliness and clarity in your life so that your experience is pleasurable by simply the virtue of being.

Solar/Lunar Duality: The Vinyl EP is divided into two planetary bodies. Side A — The “Solar Side” and Side B — “The Lunar” Side. The Sun is represents principally the radiant nature of Masculine energy. The Sun's energy is one that is self generating and everlasting as long as its shining all that receives its rays will continue its growth and abundance. The Moon represents the nature of receptivity the feminine principle which captures the light energy of the sun and reflects it back and governs our physical natural cycles and tides of the waters both internally and externally. The cycles of the moon when we decide to to be attentive to its influence we start to know when to retreat when to rest , when to repair our selves and intuitively when to bloom express our vivaciousness and attract things to ourselves.

General Concept:
SorryForThis represents the natural evolution and growth of a producer.

The initial idea comes from passion and strength which supports someone's own music and own style and the ability of launching it out there with confidence. We'd like to create a very well connected group, almost like a family able to face a worldwide competition. 

Music is at first enjoyable, fun and relaxing; the origin of the name is certainly ironic as we don't like to take ourselves to seriously. We also hope that this will allow us to break the market in a witty and casual way to then show the commitment, passion and professionalism beyond it.

Music
There's not a precise music genre that we'd like to stick to. We'd like to keep the proposal as open as possible spacing from house to techno without prejudices towards new ideas. Ideally every track should have its own personality and be able to convey live ability and authenticity. 

We are very attached to the physicality of our products and feel that objects like the vinyl represents our first attraction to music as well as our solid technical roots. We have therefore decided that every release will be produced on vinyl as well as digital form, supported by the best promotion possible and distributed in all major stores.

Graphic
In a close connection with the name there is a graphic concept.
The style has to stand out and struck at once, as we believe that a label in order to be complete must also follow an artistic leitmotiv. The logo should be simple and easily recognizable, which should ideally be placed on one side of the disc as a constant (cloud and thunder light) and on the other side there could be a character, an animal or animated version of it (which would stand for the particular release) with which play humour and link to the name. The idea is that creating comic strips/ironic strips (either cynic or sadistic humour) that recollected the labels’ name: SorryForThis!
The artwork of the whole album cover will be produced in collaboration with Buskart ass. who’s going to promote a different new young artist every release
