[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] is proud to present the 97th release in its catalog — EmmaSoul & Moodeep – Serrasalmidae EP.

We begin the descent into an aquarium of depth, where sound moves like a shoal. EmmaSoul (@sphelele-emmasoul) from Newcastle, South Africa and Moodeep (@moodeep) from Węgierska Górka, Poland are united not by geography, but by the underwater pressure of reverberations. Together they construct a dub techno ecosystem in which every wave has character and every impulse has teeth. The title Serrasalmidae refers to the piranha family. Yet here, aggression transforms into the architecture of rhythm. This is not a bite — it is precision frequency work.

:::Catoprion opens the EP like a deep breath before immersion. A signature sub, shimmering chord layers, and fragile noise textures create the sensation of slow, conscious movement through dense water.
:::Metynnis sounds more detached — like light reflecting on the surface, where minimalism meets inner tension.
:::Paku 01 and Paku 02 represent two phases of a single state: the first hypnotic and steady, the second more industrial, with an emphasis on rhythmic geometry and spatial depth.
