SCP-ES-297 es un fenómeno infeccioso que afecta a la arquitectura habitada o utilizada de otra manera por los seres humanos. Las infecciones típicamente comienzan en restaurantes, cafeterías y otros establecimientos de comida (de aquí en adelante referidos como SCP-ES-297-1) antes de propagarse a la caja registradora del lugar, la cual mostrará mensajes diciendo "Gracias por elegir Taco Bell". El menú del lugar infectado se expandirá para incluir artículos típicos de establecimientos de SCP-297-2 como tacos, burritos, etc. En el curso de ocho a trece meses, la ubicación SCP-ES-297-1 experimentará una reorganización estructural autónoma para asemejarse en apariencia a una ubicación estándar SCP-ES-297-2.

SCP-ES-297-2 es el concepto de la cadena de restaurantes de comida rápida "Taco Bell".

Experimenting with different methods of adding that institutional atmosphere to SCP audio logs. This one used these two effects in Audacity: 
"Microcasette": High Pass Filter @ 400 Hz, 48 dB rolloff. Low Pass filter @4K Hz, 48 dB rolloff.
"Bad Tracking": Phaser with the following settings: 2 stages, 110 Dry/Wet, 0.3 Hz LFO Freq, 0.0 LFO Start Phase, 125 Depth, 0% Feedback, 0% Output Gain.

In January of 2020, one of the oldest members of the SCP Wiki, Dr. Gears, announced that he had been diagnosed with kidney cancer and was entering treatment. The wiki mobilized immediately, forming a fundraiser to help out with his medical bills and recovery. I, in a fit of impulsivity, decided that I would set my own charity incentive to get people donating (you know, like AGDQ but with less class). I vowed that if we could reach $10,000, I would read out the entire Ouroboros Cycle 001 Proposal in an uwu voice.

Well, we hit that. And blew past it. And now I regret many things oh whyyyyy did I do this to myself.

Description: SCP-087 is an unlit platform staircase. Stairs descend on a 38 degree angle for 13 steps before reaching a semicircular platform of approximately 3 meters in diameter. Descent direction rotates 180 degrees at each platform. The design of SCP-087 limits subjects to a visual range of approximately 1.5 flights. A light source is required for any subjects exploring SCP-087, as there are no lighting fixtures or windows present. Lighting sources brighter than 75 watts have shown to be ineffective, as SCP-087 seems to absorb excess light.

Subjects report and audio recordings confirm the distressed vocalizations from what is presumed to be a child between the ages of █ and ██. The source of the distress calls is estimated to be located approximately 200 meters below the initial platform. However, any attempts to descend the staircase have failed to bring subjects closer to the source. The depth of descent calculated from Exploration IV, the longest exploration, is shown to be far beyond both the possible structure of both the building and geological surroundings. At this time, it is unknown if SCP-087 has an endpoint.

SCP-087 has undergone four video recorded explorations by Class-D personnel. Each subject conducting an exploration has encountered SCP-087-1, which appears as a face with no visible pupils, nostrils, or mouth. The nature of SCP-087-1 is entirely unclear, but it has been determined that it is not the source of the pleading. Subjects exhibit feelings of intense paranoia and fear when faced with SCP-087-1, but it is undetermined whether said feelings are abnormal or simply natural reactions.

Description: RPC-047 is a British royal crown that resembles St. Edward's Crown, which is one of the earliest crowns used by King Charles II in 1661. The object measures around 31cm tall and weighing at 2.23kg. The crown has four fleur-de-lis and four crosses pattée, supporting the two dipped arches topped by a monde and cross pattée, the arches and monde signifying the imperial crown.

According to historical documents, the crown was created with fragmented components of the Tudor Crown, used by King Charles I until his death in 1649. It has been theorized that the pieces of the Tudor Crown was the apparent cause of St. Edward's Crowns' anomalous manifestation.

Subjects designated as RPC-047-2 manifest following their initial contact with RPC-047, either physical or eye contact. Subjects in view of RPC-047 remain in visual approximately 18 seconds before their approach, under influence, and wear RPC-047. Upon contact, RPC-047-2 behaves in a ruthless, violent, and authoritative manner, which will refer themselves as a monarch of a non-existent kingdom.

Interestingly, a few cases of RPC-047's manifestation often lead an RPC-042-2 instance to refer themselves as King Charles I. This phenomenal occurrence often happens with RPC-047-2 instances that have legitimate ancestry to the British monarchy.

Once manifested, RPC-047-2 desires to maintain subjects within its non-existent kingdom. RPC-047-2 will attempt to further manifest with non-affected subjects, designated as RPC-047-3, via hand-to-hand contact. When contact is made, RPC-047-3 instances will adhere and follow all commands to RPC-047-2. RPC-047-3 instances are observed to behave erratic, both homicidal and suicidal, with redness bloodshot eyes and foam developing after initial contact. (See Addendum 047.2)

Biological analysis of an expired RPC-047-3 instance show that each endocrine gland within the body develop and release high dosage of chemical hormones, often epinephrine,1 within the body. This high dosage causes a lack of awareness to the instances and develops a form of immunity towards any physical affliction. However, it is uncertain if this dosage has caused any negative effects, such as an increase of stamina which can lead to a cardiac arrest, though no case of this occurrence has ever been recorded.

Subjects who view RPC-047 via other means, such as photos or video images, will not be affected by RPC-047's manifestation. No Cognitio-hazard effects appear to be present when viewing at these devices, though security footage has captured an unknown person wearing RPC-047, described in appearance to that of King Charles I.
