The essence of this speaks to the immense emotional weight of hatred and the courage it takes to choose a different path. It carries the essence of resilience and a profound understanding that hate ultimately diminishes the one who holds it. Here I use the lyrical beauty of Hip hop and jazz to bring an anthem of celebration, bringing everybody together to enjoy the beauty of togetherness and just  say no Hate as an awful burden to bear.

This track was inspired by a birthday card of Young lady to her fiancée when she presented him with his birthday present after they had dinner one evening, to show her affection and love for him. The message, I presume is self explanatory.

I put this track together with a soundscape loop and delayed snare drum pattern I found on LoopCloud. I then added the the kick drum via midi sequencing, a synth bass line, and synth strings. It was a fun little project on my way to learning more about the possibilities of my DAW. I hope you like it. It definitely chills me out.

4/28/25 Chill Track

The Illusion’s Edge" is a lyrical manifesto—a rhythmic rebellion against deception, a sonic reckoning where rhetoric collapses under truth. 
What does It Represents at its core? it challenges the political theatre, where words replace solutions, economic failures are disguised as strategic manoeuvres, and power is maintained through comparison rather than competence.
The Themes deal with Rhetoric vs. Reality, exploring how leaders weaponize speech but fail to act.
In terms of historical Parallels. the theme of the track evokes echoes of Rome, France, and the Soviet collapse.
Then there is the  People’s Reckoning; Their rising demand for real change, beyond illusions. All these various aspects of the lyrics are brought to bear against the backdrop of a stark reality; we live in part of the world where we have the most expensive academic institutions and yet we often the lack the leadership required to get western nations out of the "economic quagmire" we face.
