Tinlicker are back with a five track strong EP “Like No Other” out on 1st December on Feed Me’s label Sotto Voce. Piloted by Micha Heyboer (of Black Sun Empire fame) and Mike Luck, the robot has sat in the depths of his studio working away to create this masterpiece.

The EP title alone matches the project to perfection, a project which serves up a variety of modern gleaming techno, 80’s triplet bass and ethereal synths then further takes you down a dark path with its reoccurring dark driving drum features. It’s fair to say the EP is a showcase of how well the pairing work together and their versatility as producers, a versatility that places them right at home amongst the Sotto Voce family.

The EP sees collaborations with Devries on the title track, and amazing euphoric, awe-inspiring vocals from Laura Louise on “Gazoline”.

This EP combines the hugely in-vogue modulating 80s synth-techno with the atmospherics expected from a Brian Eno project, backed by the thumping, crisp percussion, spanning across, spacious loose-limbed headphone pieces and tough, floor-focused club tracks. This innovative duo have sculpted a unique sound of their own, and made a home with the Sotto Voce family.

Tinlicker strike again on Sotto Voce! Their third release on Feed Me’s imprint is a 6-track EP showcasing deep techno beats and capturing melodies. The EP is available exclusively on Beatport on the 4th September, and across other platforms on the 25th Sept. The EP is yet another epic journey from start to finish and includes collaboration with Devries on the final track ‘Spaceduck’.

This EP showcases their incredible ability to combine synth-techno with progressive melodies, building an intense atmosphere. This innovative duo have sculpted a unique sound of their own, and made a home with the Sotto Voce family. This being their third release, Jonathan Gooch aka Feed Me / Spor is definitely looking at getting them back for more.

Russia’s mysterious cold war electronic maverick, Proxy, returns with his second outing on Sotto Voce. Originally released last year as the track 10,000 on the label it now features one of Proxy’s hero’s on vocals. Cypress Hills Very own Sen Dog. Proxy has always had a hip hop mentality stretching far back. He used a legendary Tim Dog Sample on his ‘Shut Up’ track in 2012.
Proxy claims, “I always thought 10,000 had the aggression to suit a real hip hop vocal. I wanted something powerful. I immediately thought of Sen from Cypress Hill. He had the more in your face vocal which I asked to approach. I didn’t think we could ever make it happen but he said yes. Sen is cool!”

The B Side is vintage Proxy with Talking bubble. Awkwardly intense with no let up on the sinister power.
