CR024 is here to join the Cimmerian catalogue with something special.
Flora.noise & Hippoflip have joined forces from across the seas to create a very special and unique EP that will take you on a sonic journey through the corridors of your mind, as well as the dance floor.

Shaking up the meta of 140 for the entirety of the EP we are introduced with the first track ‘Four Twenty Six’ which leads you in with the ominous soundscapes and keeps you locked with fine drum work, a true essence of funk, and a driving bass line. Furthermore, we have ‘Trade Route’ the title track of the EP. The quick movement coupled with speed breaks will have you edging until it breaks to a classic head nod motif which sets up perfectly for the third track. ‘Port Wobble’ a style switch as you’ll hear that is encompassed by fat dubby wobbles and changing rhythmic patterns throughout. Last but not least we conclude with the global bass track ‘voyagers’ a high traffic percussive banger that will tickle your systems in and out.

For the first time ever alongside our digital release we are doing a limited lathe cut run of 30 units. Clear smokey 10" discs, hand stamped and numbered. Everyone who buys the physical copy will receive the digis early.

Voyagers EP

Flora Noise & Hippoflip - Port Wobble [Infernal Sounds Premiere]

A very experimental, one-off release that doesn’t quite fit into any genre. There are influences from Industrial, Hip-Hop, and IDM, but the result doesn’t quite fit into any of them.
These four tracks were made around 10 years ago, at a time when I was still exploring music production but already realizing it wasn’t for me. I never really considered myself a producer, and after this I stopped making music altogether. Still, there’s something about these strange tunes, I think it's the 'no rules' and 'in-between-genres' energy that I like and that made me want to share them now. Maybe someone out there will connect with them in their own way.

Hailing from the ATL, and reppin' the 1155 crew, man like Parrotice comes correct with this spooked out tune entitled "Cycles". We are really stoked to feature his unique & forward-thinking sound, and are truly astonished at how much quality music he has cranked out over the years. This tune carries a very spacious and gripping vibe, equipped with punishing sub-movement, intricate percussive elements, hair-raising atmospheres, and very fluid progression throughout. Soukah is a producer & DJ from southern Germany known for his dark and cinematic soundscapes.
