Nacido en Imperia en 1983 se enamora de la música desde muy joven a través del Reggae, Funk y World Music. En 2004 se convierte en DJ residente de varios clubes locales. Influenciado por algunos compañeros selectores, cambia de rumbo hacia una forma más ecléctica y alternativa de investigar sus sonidos y comienza a desarrollar una forma más amplia de pinchar. Este nuevo curso lo empuja a comenzar a producir música electrónica y a combinar sus habilidades con algunos músicos locales. Estas constantes colaboraciones y fusiones musicales le ayudan a desprenderse de su propio sonido que gravita en torno a las producciones de estudio y la música en directo. En 2015, su recién nacida colaboración con We Are For Beat, un evento de promoción de la asociación cultural, lo lleva a lanzar Aureon con Alessio Glisenti y Valerio Zuffanti, los otros dos fundadores del sello.
Su EP llamado 'Sacred Marriage' es un viaje de tres pistas a su mundo de sonidos profundos, ayudado por dos remixes de Martin Brodin y Tribu Oro. En Sacred Marriage, Michele muestra toda su habilidad como investigador del sonido y logra darle profundidad y ritmo a su tema, que es también el título del disco. Brodin da una interpretación más suave / ácida y Tribu Oro, manteniéndose fiel a su nombre, crea una versión tribal llena de detalles percusivos y rítmicos.

The debut EP „Inch“ by Betweenness (@Betweenness )aka Jörgen Gustafsson from Jönköping (Sweden) delights us with fantastic synthesizer music that could be taken straight out of the movie Blade Runner.

In his colorful compositions, he combines fuzzy and warm textures with lyrical melodies and contemporary chord changes, still yet in a steady motion. The result is a contemplative and delicate Ambient / Electronica EP, perfect for your coming space trip to Saturn.

In his captivating remix of „Agren“, Sau Poler (@sau-poler ) re-directs our space trip to Detroit and creates a dreamy uptempo House version including a syncopated marching snare drum and funky Hi-Hats.

UK-born, Berlin-based, J.Wiltshire (Hypercolour/Super Hexagon) returns to MUSAR for a deep excursion with Planet Mu's Konx-om-Pax on remix duties.

The tracks came to fruition in Berlin during a time in society when everything was closed and there was a huge layer of uncertainty across the globe. "I was channelling my interest in the introspective side of trance and finding comfort in what I was creating. It was sort of like going back to using processes from when I first started making dance music."

With three original tracks on the EP, 'Luv 44' opens the EP with a pulsating boom-bap groove and atmospheric synth work via acidic licks from the SH-101. 'The Number Counters' boasts sporadic analogue delay with white-noise snare drums and haunting ostinatos. 'Trails' is a welcoming, sluggish roller that chugs into oblivion, making for an idyllic warm-up excerpt for the club.

On remix duties, special guest Konx-om-Pax is summoned to bring his own interpretation of 'The Number Counters'. As an artist, you may recognise Konx-om-Pax’s visuals for Warp, Mogwai, Underground Resistance, Oneohtrix Point Never, Hyperdub, Advanced Beauty and LuckyMe. Oftentimes when turning his hand to production, the Planet Mu signee develops the original elements and pushes them into new territory via a host of analogue effects chains. Among the mix is a hypnotic and continual breakbeat that dips in and out dynamically, plus a host of improvised effects that sporadically paint over the mix like a beautiful and chaotic tapestry.

he latest release to drop on the Saved Records imprint is a two track EP titled 'Perception’ from Oxia. A label long established as being at the forefront of underground dance music, Saved Records continues to source talent from across the globe, this time drawing on the French house pioneer for this most recent offering, due out on the 19th May. 

Oxia’s career spans over a decade and has seen releases on a plethora of electronic music’s most notable labels. His early musical influences reflect a large spectrum of music styles including electro-funk, italo-disco, new-wave and early remnants of the Chicago house scene. Fast forward to present, Oxia’s two track EP for Saved shows clearly how he masters the house and techno crossover and demonstrates how after so many years in the game, Oxia is still at the forefront of the international electronic scene, relying on deep melodic grooves as the key element in his production.

Saved Records has wasted no time in building a reputation as leaders in world class house and techno and is now a well respected and hugely admired independent label. Alongside label founder Nic Fanciulli, artists who have released on the label include Joris Voorn, Adam Beyer, The Martinez Brothers, Mark Fanciulli and Rolando amongst many others.
