Soul M is a DJ and the Founding member of Passion People Music (Record) Est 2008, He grew up in Edendale township (Pietermaritzburg) KZN, where he got most of his influences on various sounds ranging from House music, Kwaito, Funk, Fusion and a bit of Jazz & Hip Hop. He started collecting music at an early age and over time the love for house music became strong. Late in the year 2006 Soul M became DJ and since then he has been a part of huge and small events across South Africa, playing amongst local and international Dj’s/artists. He became a resident DJ at 033 Lifestyle for almost 5 years. He is one of the few DJ's in town who play house music and it’s subgenres (Deep House, Soulful House, Jazzy House & Underground house), and a pinch of Nu-jazz/broken beats.
