Miguel A. Julian
started his professional career as a singer and songwriter in 1989 and hasn't looked back since. He is one of the pioneers of the Soul music in Spain. He is the only Spanish artist who recorded with the legendary producer of Al Green, the architect of the Memphis sound:  Willie Mitchell.


From over a period of ten years (1989-99), Miguel lead and wrote hits for his band "The Cool Jerks", releasing 10 albums with different labels, touring Spain and many countries around Europe.

In 2005 He made up his way across the sea to England to start up a new and exciting band there ( Soul Tellers). That project, took him directly to one of his old time heroes:
Willie Mitchel The Architect of the Memphis Sound

In 2007 he became the first and only Spanish Artist to record with the legendary producer Willie Mitchell, at Royal Studios in Memphis.
Mitchell said about Miguel:
“…I really like him, he’s got a unique and fresh soulful sound but with the old spirit. The songs are very very catchy but powerful. I can guarantee you that I always leave every studio session humming his melodies...Sweet Soul Crazy Spaniard..."

Miguel Julian still keep the spirit of that great "Soulful Era" as Mitchell said and has set a high standard of soul music in his country. After 23 years, 12 albums and the success of his latest project ( The Soul Tellers) he is still top of the game.

This is one singer to watch out for. Not only does he cast a spell over his audiences, he is also a prolific songwriter with over 300 songs to his name.
