The stars align across the southern hemisphere where NAHS and Ivan Aliaga illuminate with "Astrona". Argentinean flair radiates through driving rhythms and pounding beat where angular effects contrast with velvety synth lines that juxtapose against dancefloor prowess. A seasoned performer joins the Mango Alley roster with typical flair and craftsmanship. Musical wizardry and hypnotic groove permeate through every pore of Matias Chilano's musical soul; a seething variety of soundscapes glisten in familiar patterns to create a joyous new mosaic.

Middle Eastern flavours are served up via ARTN's sonic delicacy. Echoes of "Astrona" ripple in gorgeous timbres as heavy bassline groove jostles for position against recognisable melodic tropes that glide across the stereo spectrum. A powerful cadenced backdrop provides a rock-solid foundation for dancefloor success before Santiago born star makes a bold new statement. Simply City is energised from adopted Montreal home where a growling new bassline marks a new "Astrona" statement. Glorious new melodies cascade in bright patterns that light up skies that have been dark too long. Built upon a common bedrock, fresh sonic threads weave a majestic new tapestry full of dynamic colour.

Kasey Taylor and Karl Pilbrow return to Sudbeat with an exciting new double header including 'In The Zone' and 'Mount Epicon'. 

Since their last EP, the pair have been busy with releases on Kasey's re-energized Vapour Recordings, Visceral, The Soundgarden, OneDotSixTwo and more. Kasey is one of Australia's best-known exports. Already a Melbourne hero before John Digweed scouted him in the mid-90s, Kasey's incendiary DJ sets were the stuff of legend which intensified his newly global status. 

A force in the industry for nearly 3 decades, he owns 3 labels of his own plus releases on countless others, but it was his creative renaissance in 2019 that has catapulted him into new territories and garnered him new fans. If Kasey is considered a pioneer, then Karl represents his legacy. A current face of the city, Melbourite Karls meteoric rise is purely down to his dedication and talent. Known for his atmospheric and uplifting sound, Karl has shared the stage with many of his heroes already, who in turn are fast becoming his most loyal fans. 

'In The Zone' is a classic 'meeting of minds' collaboration. A funky tom percussion leads us into shimmering arps and bass sweeps before the main tribal bass pattern tears a hole in the dance floor. Deep and wildly hypnotic, the track grows with tempered menace toward and satisfying main break, after that, the floor ignites! 'Mount Epicon' starts with phased sonics, shakers and bongos before lighting up the room. As the Reese bass hits the whole floor is awash with waving arms and happy, contented dancers. A masterclass you'd be a fool to miss.

2018 has been a big year for Eric Luttrell. Along with the release of his ‘Intergalactic Plastic EP’, the American-born producer has played the DoLab stage at Coachella, Holy Ship, Tomorrowland, as well as supporting Above & Beyond on their North American Tour.

Originally featured as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’, the EP’s title track ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ now gets a stellar remix treatment via Kidnap, Clarian, and Bebetta.

Kidnap builds on Luttrell’s graceful chord progression, combining a chugging bassline and 80’s plucks to create a lush sunset soundtrack, whilst Clarian chooses to get deep, favouring brooding staccato synths and a thumping four-to-the-floor kick. German native Bebetta closes out the package with impeccable sound design, transforming the original into a melting soundscape of twirling synths.
