From the unstable vessel, a frictionless plateau or runway is witnessed surfacing soon after you piece together the vision, and you begin to slide along it. Wet birds gyre, forming a huge effigy that tells you your new name, sparrowhawk. A chorus and ensemble waver in and out of view as another vast body begins to emerge from below. From the hazy distance, a corps of wind players approach as a series of depth charges detonate, scattering the birds and sky-borne musicians. A purple-clad bombhead throws a sack of apples in your direction, causing you to tumble roll. On resurfacing, the plateau has reorganised itself into a shifting array of cubes and pipes (zadar sea organ mecha). This continues in crescendo, accumulating drumming box jellies, vibrating rubber tubes that straddle the ocean sky barrier, once-distant churches, and -
Cloud cover lowers.you instantly are approaching the lead mines.a fog soaked November.that robin still calls from the hawthorn. . .

June, cumulonimbus warships idle on the horizon, their gun turrets played by a westerly. From along the promenade a miniature wheeled train arrives, hitting a lamppost and, crumpling into the sand digger, becomes a violent mechanic amalgam that methodically untethers the fishing boats, rips up the groins and compacts the beach huts, using telegraph cables and succulent root systems to tie the pieces together into an enormous raft, which it floats out on the waveless channel. As it slowly gondoliers itself away from shore, it performs a plodding series of rotational movements that increase in complexity and variety, the entire form of the amalgam changing at the apex of each movement, and its the central crux eventually dissolving entirely. 5 chinooks arrive from the nearby base, hovering still as officers launch a tirade of artillery at the beast. The heads of selkies bob up between waves, as they attempt to shift the energy through echoing phrases. Eventually the military win, and the beast sinks defeated. The raft continues its journey toward the horizon, sparking intermittently.

Azelsgoattii is a bedroom musician from Xi ‘An bass label SOURCE, currently living in Chengdu. She’s used to creating real thoughts and life experiences in the moment of emotional catharsis.

In 2021, she released her first single Rainin Floatin ft.Ylils00001, singing two-piece melodic R&B in a Cloudrap atmosphere and gaining popularity among musicians on SoundCloud. That same year, S!LK Compilation Vol2- 海纳百川 included her collaboration single ChangAnSwing with LJC, Uk Wave plus Cloudrap’s ethereal beauty led to this song being included in their mixes by numerous DJS in China. And then the single Fadeaway with Blastah is her favorite work, everyone has their own different face, while blaming themselves and trying to pull themselves out of the endless abyss… Escape the infinite loop of the world and the constant repetition of emotions.

Toby Davis is a member of Xi ‘an underground music organization SOURCE . His compositions focus on UK bass, African and South American Club music. In recent years, he has been active in underground electronic music, from Mavericks to Seippelable, Connection and Gully Riddim compilations. He likes to collect club sound from different parts of the world on the Internet. His main works include Witch Dance, Dark Forest, Osbcure Feat. AKA AFK……

Exhalation is the debut compilation of ÖÖÖ, which embodies the label's main theme of "Primitive Future". The concept captures the essence of a universal cycle that encompasses physical and spiritual elements for generating life, intelligence, and emotion. It speaks to the movement of life forms in all their subtlety or grandeur, from humans, creatures to planets, from unknown beings to unpredictable happenings. Exhalation is rooted in the origin of natural orders and chaos since time immemorial.

Participated artists are crossing different continents of the earth - SÁCCEA (@sacce4), Aestum (@aestum), e6c41 (@e6c41), Iva Peralta (@ivaperalta) Ylateau (@ylateau), Anh Phi (@anh_phi), Locre (@locr3), Ice_Eyes (@ice_eyes), Azelsgöattii (@goattii), Toby Davis (@toby_davis), Klusā Daba (@klusa_daba).

The artists developed their envision of the theme through different sonic landscapes - from futural energy paradise, turbulent apocalypse earth cracks, cult incantation from posthuman tribes, the nirvana of subconscious struggles, to oracle lights and dreamlike chants that heal wounds... Any possibilities are expected as artists will tell a consistent story of Exhalation together with their unique perspectives.
