So many tracks come to my mind when i think about Paul, and yesterday his presence was with me really strongly and i couldn't stop thinking about him, and how he inspired me in so many ways. I just needed to play music that reminded me of Paul Trouble and some truly amazing times in my life. so here is is. Nearly 4 hours of tracks that flowed from me yesterday (all very spiritual i know, but that's the truth). Some of the mixing ain't the best and there's a few key clashes but i thought fuck it just share it. I hope you enjoy!

Body and Soul NYC @ Club Vinyl 1996-2002 Tribute Mix

I was brought up in Caversham, Berkshire, UK and bought my first vinyl back in 1985  listening mainly to Soul and Hip Hop.

I went to my first illegal outdoor party somewhere in a field in the middle of nowhere in Berkshire in 1989 and that was when I was first introduced to House music. I then started to buy House Vinyls. I bought a pair of Technics 1210’s in 1991 and started bedroom Djing and went on my first trip to Ibiza in the summer of 1991 where I was introduced to the Balearic sounds listening to the likes of Alfredo and Jose Padilla. It wasn’t until 1992 when I started University in London that I played my first gig at a House Party in the Student Union. I then became Vice President of the Student Union and helped organise more House Parties. During the weekends I used to go to the Ministry of Sound and The Gardening Club and listen to the likes of Tony Humphreys, Jeremy Healy and Danny Rampling.

When I left University in 1995 the Djing and promoting took a bit of a back burner as I concentrated on my career in the City. I still continued to buy the records and attend House nights. Then in 2004 whilst I was in Dubai I was asked to play at a friend’s house party. I then got the bug back for playing out again. In 2011 I had a slot on London’s Passion FM. On the back of that I started to get gigs at the Egg and the MOS. Then in 2012 when I was living and working in Monaco I set up a very successful night called Soulful Thursday’s at Zest Nightclub. In 2014 upon my return to the UK, I started another successful night called Back to Love which has gone from strength to strength. I have also produce music under the name Soul Skool and have remixed Victor Romeo’s Love Will Find A Way. Due out on Red Rose Recordings soon.  During 2015 I teamed up with the legendary DJ/Producer Kenny Summit to release our 1st Anniversary Back To Love Album on Good For You Records. I was and still am completely humbled that it reached No 9 in the top 100 Traxsource albums worldwide. This year I also joined London’s newest and best house music station www.deep.london and play every saturday from 6pm – 8pm.

I do all of this because I love my house music!!! Thanking you all for your support!!
