Today, I gave myself permission to stop chasing the life everyone else told me I needed.The success. The power. The performance. The constant “fix.”I laid it all down.

Because some things in this life are not fixable.And pretending otherwise can become another form of violence against the soul.

Internal is a song made from honest surrender.From choosing to sit in sadness without shame.From giving up the exhausting search for happinessand choosing, instead, to seek peace.

Not a forced peace.Not a shallow one.But the kind that God whispers into the torn places:

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peacewhose mind is stayed on Theebecause he trusteth in Thee.”

That verse became my anchor today.Not a command to be okay,but a gentle reminder that peace is possible—even in sorrow—when my mind rests in Him.

I no longer need to become “great” to prove I’m healing.I no longer need to “rise above” what broke me to be whole again.I can be internal—quiet, slow, soft.I can be broken and loved at the same time.I can grieve and still trust.I can exist without performance.

If you are hurting too...you don’t need to impress anyone with your healing.You don’t need to prove your worth through happiness.It’s okay to be still.It’s okay to be sad.It’s okay to just be.

You are allowed to heal in silence.You are allowed to exist in grace.
