My first EP and my first time venturing into house music. All the vocals are chopped up, transposed, and formatted samples of random songs I found online. A bit higher bpm than what I traditionally produce, so hopefully it allows you to bop around a bit! :)

Time

I began my initial attempt to remix this song over 5 years ago. It was 2018 and I had no clue what I was doing; I chopped up the vocals, made a slow build, but couldn't execute anything further. I didn't know how. So I waited, telling myself I'd one day finish the song. Years went by and I'd listen to that original remix, dreaming of what it would eventually sound like. I was, however, afraid, and I hung onto that fear for a long time.

Until two days ago. I finally thought about my friend Drew--who really liked that original attempt--and asked myself: 'why not try something'. Why not give it a shot. 48 hours into the future and I can finally say I've done it.

This one's for Drew and everyone else looking for themselves out there. I hope you enjoy this wonky remix and I hope the wait was worth it.

Inspired by Bronson/Odesza/Golden Features. This was one of the quickest songs I've made--the process took about 12 hours over a single day. I was in a flow-state the entire time.

When We Go

Cranked this song out in a 5-hour-straight session. It's probably my favorite song I've ever made, inspired by G Jones and Eprom with the fun breakbeats/amens, the glitchy samples, and 'unusual' structure. It is also the first 140 song I've released!

I plan to make more songs like this! So get ready! I'll be working hard this ensuing month. Cheers!
