Introduction to 'This Funky Town':
This E.P. is born by building a story around the main track of this release; This Funky Town is the last chapter of 3. This is the story of a bio-androids specie that decide to land peacefully on earth (The Landing Day), but after seeing the worst side of human behaviors they decide to colonize the earth in a few days (Colony).
From the ash and the silence they want to rebuilt a world, keeping the best thing they found coming on earth... THE FUNKY VIBES.
So...One, and only one one giant city to live and dance all the day forever!

This album is a continuation of the hip-hop/funk hybrid sample based music that I've been making for the past few years. Hope you all can find your own "Bright Moment" in these tracks. Max Hardy (MNSRHRDY/ Monsieur Hardy) is a Chilean musician, producer and pop, disco, house and nu disco DJ.
His beginnings in the music industry date back to 2010, when he was studying graphic design. During that period, he began to get acquainted with musical production software, like FL Studio. Since then, he began experimenting with different music styles, mostly latin sounds and bossa nova.
In 2013, he started getting notoriety, after landing the third place in an international contest to remix the song "Best Friend", by the American band Foster The People, which marked a shift in his musical sound, as he started remixing styles such as R&B, funk, soul, post-disco and italo-disco.
Max has colaborated in the production and mixing of songs with various Chilean singers and songwriters, such as Victoria Mus, Felipink and Landabur.
In 2019 he signed with the label Soulbuilding, with whom he has already released the first single called "Do U care 4 me?".
