Nice new twist to the version , very calm and relaxing. good work. This harmony here I am not sure... the vocals here are the thing that destroy it a little bit. i think the trumpet would have been enough for your track.

This song is dedicated to my good friend, Gary Samuels. An incredible musician, composer, teacher, vocal trainer, poet, preacher, arranger, etc... oh yes..and a full blown COMEDIAN!!  Gary ALWAYS had my back. He'd always call me in for all sorts of music gigs. Concerts, sessions, workshops, etc.. you name it. He's the reason why I got my passport. Going overseas with him to teach gospel music and do jazz concerts.... When COVID-19 stole him away, it left a hole in my heart. So in his honor, please enjoy this little tune I wrote.
