From around the 25 min mark to the 1 hour and 10 min mark is probably the best mix of music ive heard in my entire life. I love what you do joe kay, stay killing it, stay keeping people like me finding great mew music each and every week. Been a listener since the early 200 soulection shows❤️

Welcome back, i've had to take some time off the past couple of weeks because i've been ill and fatigue. I was also congested for a month straight from traveling, lack of sleep, and hitting different climates zones -- you can hear it in my voice in the previous shows. Anyways, there wasn't a LIVE show on Rinse.FM today because they are curating special programming for their 20 year anniversary celebration this weekend and next weekend. We won't be back live on air until Saturday, October 4th. 

I couldn't go another week without doing the show so I just recorded privately on my own. I have some great music in here and tried to balance it with new and classic tracks like always. Enjoy!

His list of inspirations goes everywhere from the production likes of No ID, DJ Premier, Alchemist, The Neptunes, Daft Punk and Kanye West to DJs like Skratch Bastid, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Craze and Nick Bike and other creative forces, namely Jay-Z, Eiichiro Oda and Kobe Bryant. DJ Quezs remains a master of the moment; always knowing the right sounds for the right place, always leaving this moment better than the last.

"In 2015, after a trip to Los Angeles visiting GLasscity. On my last night in town we had the opportunity to kick it with DJ Khalil. The knowledge he gave us was monumental, even just seeing his work space and plaques on the wall lit a fire within me. I know this was something I want to do for the rest of my life."
