I'm a Singer-Songwriter/Lyricist/Poet born in Guyana, South America; raised in Brooklyn, New York and now reside in Houston, Texas. I mainly write and sing Gospel and R&B. My music is a representation of my own personal experiences, as well as the experiences of others I've had the privilege of meeting and knowing. My songs are relatable in some way, shape or form, because though each experience is unique, it is not unheard of. I consider myself to be the Jill of all things creative, because that's how I was designed. I embrace life's journey, bumps and all, and each step of this journey has been the inspiration and the fuel to keep on pursuing that which makes me happy.
