The SoulFire Project is a multi-cultural, nomadic music experience that fuses reggae and cumbia with folk, afro-latin and Caribbean elements, weaving a tapestry of world music that breaks down barriers and calls us to join the movement.
The SoulFire Project was born to explore the americas. In 2009 our school bus turned mobile home/studio crossed the US/México border. South in search of new cultures, we threw ourselves into the unknown. Inspired by visions of the great adventure that lay ahead and the conviction that there is much, much more to life than the American dream, we started this journey without an end in sight.
Over the last decade, The 1979 Crown Supercoach known as “Dobie” has faithfully served as a home and studio to over 100 artists from 23 countries. The bus runs on used vegetable oil and solar power. We transform the majority of our waste into building materials and compost. Dedicated to living as sustainably as possible we lead by example, a life we can believe in living.

The SoulFire Project es una experiencia musical multicultural y nómada que fusiona el reggae y la cumbia con elementos folclóricos, afro-latinos y caribeños, tejiendo un tapiz de World Music que rompe barreras y nos llama a unirnos al movimiento.
El proyecto SoulFire nació para explorar las américas. En 2009, nuestro autobús escolar convertido en una casa/estudio móvil cruzó la frontera de USA/ México. Dirección sur, en busca de nuevas culturas, nos lanzamos a lo desconocido. Inspirados por las visiones de la gran aventura que se avecinaba y la convicción de que hay mucho, mucho más en la vida que el sueño americano, comenzamos este viaje sin un final a la vista.
Durante la última década, el Crown Supercoach de 1979 conocido como "Dobie" ha servido fielmente como hogar y estudio a más de 100 artistas de 23 países. El autobús funciona con aceite vegetal usado y energía solar. Transformamos la mayoría de nuestros residuos en materiales de construcción y compost. Dedicados a vivir de la forma más sostenible posible, lideramos con el ejemplo, una vida en la cual realmente podemos creer.
