Truesoul Records are proud to announce the release of ‘Let Your Soul Outside’, the debut album from Reset Robot in April 2014.

Behind the Reset Robot project is Dave Robertson, a producer who has released standout singles on labels like Dogmatik, Intacto and Adam Beyer’s Truesoul imprint over the past 5 years. Now he steps up with his debut album, the stunning ‘Let Your Soul Outside’.

The LP was written at Reset Robot’s home studio in Portsmouth and is an album of fascinating textures inspired by “all the music I listen to and love!” says the producer himself. “I've wanted to do this for a long time and all of a sudden I had 8 or 9 tracks together which were a little bit different. I added a few more and asked a close friend, Tom Powell from Mister Woo, to add vocals to a couple of them and it was ready.”

The result is a full length that touches on many different moods and emotions, starting with the melodically soothing tech funk of ‘Guitar Man’. Tracks like ‘Little Alice’ then pick up the momentum thanks to slick beats and crisp percussion and ‘Sizzler’ introduces a soulful vocal element over more tortured sounding, synth-laden grooves.

It’s not all full on dancefloor material though, with tracks like ‘Desi Beats’ it allows you a little time to breath thanks to their more widescreen and laidback vibe, whilst ‘Sausage’ strikes a truly emotive pose that has your thoughts turning inwards.

With this album Reset Robot proves both his range and his dexterity – no two tracks sound the same, and instead the Portsmouth producer explores every nook and cranny with a fine attention to detail that really makes the whole thing sing. ‘Let Your Soul Outside’ is a stellar achievement.

Parallells is a fresh brother duo of Dutch producers who grew up in France. Playing around the globe (Dominican Republic, Egypt, Qatar, Tunisia, Spain, France, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, England, Belgium, Germany…), their set can be characterized by the mix of several genres with a spacey and melodic touch that brings its audience on a emotional journey. 
After a first Cosmopolis / Solaris EP that ranked in the top 40 Deep House release on Beatport and a second EP, Innocence / Inner-Sens coming out the 7th July on Crossings, Parallells has a lot to show in 2017. The firtst trip on Space Shores begins from the beautiful release from Asten with stunnig vocal by JAYA. The original is warm and slow, saturated with bright percussion and a hypnotizing arp that complements JAYA's amazing voice.
The remix from maestro François Svalis continues the line by taking the sound into a deep techno, making the track easier and lyrical. The next remix is ​​presented by an experienced N4M3 who moved the sound to future garage, make it more airy and melancholic. And the last one from the promising newcomer Akia - he created a dark and pulsating sound with a broken beat and heavy synths.
The various sound palettes used by the release participants show well the direction in which we will move in our journey along the Space Shores.

Hitting the Proton Music release catalogue in July 2017, the "Glass Elevator" EP was a highlight in the summer schedule. As we now return to the title work, a pair of new remixes from a hugely talented quartet take the track to new heights.

Renowned and hugely respected within the underground dance arena, Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic have been at the forefront of the scene for well over a decade. Finding success with a debut on Tilth Music in 2007, Georgia based, Michael and Levan teamed up with Croatian producer and close friend, Stiven Rivic, to create one of the most successful collaborative partnerships. Multi-talented and a professional athlete in the case of Rivic, the trio founded the hugely influential Mistique Music and Kunai Records imprints to impressive effect with the "State of Liberty" debut coming on the former in April 2009. Never looking back, Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic have found themselves allied to a host of blue chip labels that include Perspectives Digital, JOOF and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat.

Making a statement of intent with a debut remix of Andre Sobota's "Concluded" for Proton Music in May 2017, September's "Gamma Rays" represented a first original release alongside a pair of outstanding remixes. Now returning to the label, the Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic remix takes the core rhythmic groove of "Glass Elevator" and takes it firmly into dance floor friendly territory with a pounding beat and wonderfully evolving melodic components. Erupting at the mid-point a huge eight-note stab hypnotically pulses across the track's third movement with a chorus of outstanding additional production material.

Making significant waves in a very short timeframe, French producer, Ahmad Qatramiz, has risen to prominence with his Quatri moniker and a unique blend of deep house and electronica to create "electronic, organic emotional, music". Aiming to bring emotional content through analogue sounds and club friendly tracks, Quatri's work for German imprint, Nie Wieder Schlafen, has been exceptional. Centred around the "Into the Oblivion" EP in late 2017, the triptych provided a window into the French producer's musical soul with accompanying remixes from Kincaid and Rudy. Now debuting on Proton Music with a stunning reworking of "Glass Elevator", Quatri has created a wonderful dark and brooding interpretation that imbues the original with a deliciously laid-back rhythmic cadence and subterranean kick. Developing subtly over a near ten-minute voyage, an organic lead provides elegant vibrato detail that is then accompanied by a counterpoint melody that has its origins in wooden pan-pipes that flutter across the mid-range with coruscating delays that pan the stereo spectrum. Resonating the melodic themes of "Glass Elevator", Quatri's skill is to take them and extend them into innovative directions to create a work of genuine skill and craft.

A pair of remixes from Michael and Levan, Stiven Rivic and Quatri find the "Glass Elevator" shimmering and sparkling in a new aural glow.

Esteemed artists Nico Stojan and Timujin make their debut on Rebellion this May with Oktoberfest, a powerful three track release that sees the duo collaborate for the very first time. 

Nico explains “this EP is made up of older tracks that Timur and myself made together two years ago whilst I was in London. We invited two musician friends and spent some days together in different studios.” The EP opens with the echoing charm of the title track, as a hypnotic vocal sample asserts itself in a foreign language. Next up, the guitar chords of Satsang gently pluck away as flutes whirr behind a tempered kick. Higher Altitude rounds the EP, as a guitar solo rolls along before giving way to a poignant array of shimmering maraca sounds. 

A native to Berlin, Nico Stojan has been a presence in the electronic music sphere for more than two decades. Having cut his teeth in the German capital with a residency at Bar 25, the talented DJ soon went on to form Ouie Records, alongside Acid Pauli. Previous releases can also be found on the likes of Crosstown Rebels and Physical Records. Timujin is one of Russia’s finest exports. A regular of Burning Man, he has also released on Flying Circus, Earthly Delights and Dope Musique, and is the founder of the international art and sound collective, White Ocean.

Nico Stojan & Timujin - Satsang

For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.
