Ninsa is an upcoming DJ from Amsterdam, Netherlands dedicated to bringing intense and deep music on the dance floors of the planet, maybe also mars in the future.

When you produce a track with Gabriel the key ingredient is to have fun. Which begins with putting on a creative fun outfit before you sit down and go into music nerd mode behind your computer. This was the start of Glitter & Litter. A collection of glittery ideas and some littery ones we couldn't get rid of.

So we did. Honestly, after 27 years of producing techno it can be a bit boring to produce so it was fun to work together and get some ideas and vibes. Since this was a “finding the style” process, it was a 3 days trial and error session and 3 songs made it into one. Usually thats not so good but in this case, it works like a charm. Ninsa: The interstellar “remix version” on Gabriels SoundCloud is a track that I’ve listened to many times. I love it and when we searched for inspiration we started to talk about how shitty it is that it’s just on SoundCloud and nowhere else. So we just made our own interpretation.

When we are creating, we find a balance somewhere in between of both our styles. There is no other mentor and friend that I would wish for in this music journey.


Ananda: “ Not many movies or events hit my deepest pain of being separated as much as interstellar. They did something right with this movie and the soundtrack is on point.

So in one of our sessions, Ninsa and I couldn't find something that moved us equally so we just decided to go into these chords of Hans Zimmer. 

The heaviness of the remix on soundcloud isn't so much in this one, so i decided to create contrast by also showing the happy side of that Theme in the break..

Ninsa is not only a really good friend and an amazing, hard working talent as a DJ and all that is connected to it, her passion also lights me up a little so that i feel motivated to make some more techno tracks and also enjoy playing on parties more. So big thanks for that.

Cryptozoology, the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti, is something that Henry Saiz finds deeply intriguing. His love of exoticism and strange natural/organic sounds (his own label is called Natura Sonoris - which means Nature of Sound) provide the fuel for this latest stunning Bedrock release.

“The Cryptozoologist” has an instantly striking, mysterious Andean / Peruvian melodic influence that harks back to cultures shrouded in the mysteries of time, creating a truly haunting track. “Uncharted” is equally hypnotic and enthralling and yet distinctly different. Henry is using a lot of analogue vintage gear to create his music, which is giving him a very distinct sound, a path that will lead to his hotly awaited debut artist album (due out in April 2013) on which he will delve totally into and explore an analogue world (www.wearehenrysaiz.com).

Henry's critically acclaimed “Balance 019” album, released in 2011, was the catalyst for his star potential explode around the globe. His superb collaboration with Guy J (“Meridian”) and his solo track (“La Marea”) for the landmark Bedrock 100 release, were of the highest level of quality and his most recent release, “Our Discovery” (Natura Sonoris), became a huge Ibiza hit this summer, with supporters including John Digweed, Sasha, M.A.N.D.Y., Luciano, Visionquest, Danny Howells and many others. Over the years, Berlin has been cited as Oliver Koletzki's main point of reference and, more importantly, his endless source of inspiration. His albums Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 are wholehearted tributes of the German capital, as its importance is continuously hinted and charted. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin's vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver's heart. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Kreuzberg's wall paintings adorn Stil Vor Talent s cover sleeves and host their headquarters. There are little to no corners in the city that haven't brought a spark of inspiration into the mix. The Schneeweiss compilation series, now at its 11th installment, is built as a form of tribute to all these particles, tied in together into a series of carefully curated tracks. | Friends and bandmates since they were 15 there’s a bond between T.M.A (AKA Steven Szpielmann and
Patrick Steppons) that means they have an intuitive understanding of one another. In the studio this has led to
the production of spellbinding collection of music, full of emotional depth and dynamic rhythms. The pair play
live organic instruments, guitars and drums, which they merge with an electronic setup to produce a warm,
human sound. This is evident across all three tracks on their latest EP for Hommage, Aitne.

Kicking off with the title track, we’re immediately confronted with the duo’s instinctive use of melody and
rhythm to cultivate the kind of atmosphere that envelops you from the off. A wistful, impish vocal clips drifts in
and out of the background occasionally, coaxing you into a trance-like state, while the beats keep your body
moving. Tension, drama and simmering emotion make this one a fantastic start to the EP.

Next up is ‘Eirene’, a more punchy cut with razor sharp snares and hats, combined with a dense low end
designed to pump the dance floor full of irresistible energy. The track’s blackened sheen is juxtaposed by the
lively breakdown, which lifts the mood and carries us into the vibrant second half.

Lastly, label owners Monkey Safari step up for a remix of ‘Aitne’. They add a dreamlike atmosphere to the cut,
increasing its emotional appeal. This is one for the lovers out there, who’ll be wrapped in each others’ arms on
the dance floor, as the romantic, thought-provoking melody sends them into the throes of ecstasy. |
