Saturday night was a dream come true✨ - to play for the legendary Kater Blau club... a dance floor that gave me a sense of freedom and pure joy when I moved to Berlin 3 years ago. Surrounded by extraordinary raver friends & fam we set flight on a 3-hour soulful journey through bouncy, minimalistic House, Break Beat, Hip Hop, and underground groove's even my unicorn Smile was there glowing under the black light. 🦄

The vibe was breathtaking all weekend and each artist brought a special taste of the Berlin sound to celebrate the #BerlinGetsPhysical compilation. Now available on digital & vinyl!

Soulfunk is a Berlin-Bali-based Groove House project known for its timeless blend of Groove and Microhouse sound with a twist of funky-sexy vibes and powerful baselines. He creates an engaging performance that radiates good vibes and uplifting energy.

Born in Germany and raised in Spain by both musician parents, Soulfunk natural attraction to music led him from a young age to experiment with instruments like guitar, violin, and trumpet. He began Dj'ing in 2015 when he first moved to Berlin, Europe’s capital of electronic music, where he was first inspired by the local scene to start assembling his own sets which led him to pursue his DJ career.

Berlin-based Soulfunk has already been performing in some of the most iconic clubs: Kitkat, Rummelsbucht,  Birgit & bier, Polygon (OXY), RSO Baergarten, and festivals: Garbicz, Fusion, Bucht der Träumer, Sternfest, Northside (DK) and Hedone (to say the least) in Europe, and was hosted by respected channels and podcasts with his deep and soulful sets such as Sunset Grooves Podcast.

With his wide music background, Soulfunk carefully combines funky and old-school elements with sounds from the underground electronic scene: this mix, enhanced by Berlin’s vibrant dance ecosystem, led Soulfunk to create 'Funky Beats', a series of events taking place in the German capital and Bali, focused on spreading the love and addictive groovy vibes that make his Djs sets so unforgettable.
