Lukas aka Fubu has lived in Leipzig for 10 years and is more of a collector and historical culture lover than a DJ. He has been collecting records since he was a teenager and has been DJing since 2016/2017.
He describes himself as a lover of all transatlantic varieties of garage house of the 90s, from US deep/garage house to British varieties such as UK garage with 4-to-the-floor, 2-step and speed garage characteristics. You can find him in off- and smaller locations in Leipzig and Halle such as  Kulturlounge or Blendwerk.

Inviting us into melodic spheres with atmospheric breaks and lush chords, the Co-founder of the label and podcast spaceship @GALAXUNITY spins the records for an hour of making you feel there's something out there, far far away.

VisionsCast 013 with GALAXAURA

@djkbye begann ihr DJ-Dasein vor 1,5 Jahren mit einer Loop von „Hi Barbie, Hi Ken“, aus der sie glücklicherweise irgendwann wieder herausgekommen ist. Wenn man ihren Stil in drei Worten beschreiben müsste, dann wären das wohl: Breaks, breaks, breaks. k bye lädt immer wieder dazu ein, die Grenzen des Gewohnten zu überschreiten, denn in ihrer Track Selection lassen sich die Four to the Floor Kicks an einer einzigen Hand abzählen. Was mit G-Tech und einer ordentlichen Portion Bootyshake begann, hat mittlerweile etwas mehr Ernsthaftigkeit gewonnen. Aber keine Sorge: Trotz des Exports von 01099 nach 04317 lassen ihre Sets zwischen gebrochenen Rhythmen, bouncigem Electro und treibenden Basslines auch noch genug Raum für verspielte Synths und Einflüsse aus dem Hip Hop.

Goldie Palm's journey into the realm of music reflects a profound love for vocals, rhythm and beats that ignited her passion for DJing. Born from an early admiration for music's captivating power, her story began amidst the pulsating heart of Berlin's club scene.

Her enthusiasm for music found a home in 2020 in her very own radio show, "Palm Paradise", which is broadcasted by RBL Berlin. Meanwhile, she found her residence, as well as gratefully a place within the local scene, in Leipzig. 

With a sound that encapsulates the essence of House while embracing a strong influence from the 90s - the era of her childhood, her sets resonate with heavy bass lines, strong vocals and touches of acid, synth wave, and indie dance.

Run by DCSIS (@dcsis), SOULMEEX is a weekly mix series launched in December 2022 out of a passion for high quality electronic music and beyond.

A passion often tough to turn into success for those individuals combining their regular jobs with the noble art of digging, selecting and playing records in their spare time.

Even tougher if not being into music production (or recently got into), not having contacts in the industry or counting with zero financial support to host a gig in their cities.

OUR MISSION therefore is boosting on a very special and unique website all this talent we strongly believe deserves to be heard.

Most recently, since July 2023 pro DJs and  producers join SOULMEEX from time to time to help us grow the community as we enjoy their savoir-faire in music.
