Mind Over Matter (Hugh Hardie Remix)

Ukrainian DJ, producer and fundraising powerhouse TheLena AKA Olena Yashchenko released her debut single ‘Like That’ on Soulvent Records back in March, and we are thrilled to welcome her back for the follow-up. She has been shutting down dances across Europe with her high-energy DJ sets over the Summer, as well as being one of the focal points of recent music documentary ‘Resonance Beyond Borders’ produced by SW Productions, with the help and support of Hospital Records. 

‘My Mind’ features the vocal stylings of Purple Velvet Curtains - more commonly known as PVC - and delivers the sort of high-octane, driving energy we have come to expect from TheLena. PVC’s hypnotic vocals & recognisable tone serve as a dancefloor mantra, backed by dynamic production, and a plethora of bass stabs, squeals and grunts. The second drop ushers in hard-hitting techno sensibilities, with a spirited 4-to-the-floor kick pattern and even more guttural basswork. 

Sure to occupy a firm space in your head, grab ‘My Mind’ in all good stores from Friday the 12th of September!

Essex boys Jack Pike and Jake Hicks have been making music together since they were teenagers. Meeting in secondary school they realised their shared love of Drum & Bass and set to work. Their output on Program and Viper in previous years has seen them garner support from big names in the scene and we are happy to have them on Soulvent releasing a continual stream of bangers. ‘Say No More’ follows up previous 2025 singles ‘Jynx‘ and ‘Restless’ and brings forth even more techy goodness.
 
‘Say No More’ kicks off with a bubbling, tumbling synth pattern which is quickly backed by driving percussion and sensual female vocals, building the tension as the soundscape grows. The drop brings in a veritable arsenal of bassweight, with wobbles, big sweeping sub hits and percussive grunts galore, keeping the energy undeniably high throughout the duration of the tune. 

Landing in all good stores on Friday the 29th of August, we rest our case - grab ‘Say No More’ pronto!

We eagerly welcome back award-winning remixer Nu:Tone for a sophisticated flip of ‘Back To The Sun’ from In:Most and Ruth Royall. The elder brother Gresham shows off his seasoned skills at all things liquid, with a soulful reworking of the 2021 original. Reworking the initial sonics of the original, we’re treated to calming chimes, rolling drums and soul-warming sub-bass in equal measure - while Ruth’s gorgeous vocals dance atop the instrumental. 

10 years in the making, crafted with love and care, we can’t wait for you to get your ears around this one!

Screamarts - Vivid Blur [Premiere]

It is crazy to think that 10 years have indeed passed since Soulvent Records started releasing music, and celebrating such an anniversary with even more vibrant music from new and established producers alike, is nothing but a joy and a privilege! We are excited to mark this milestone with a collection of remixes that give us a chance to reflect on historical tracks, expand our list of alumni and deliver something special.

Next up is Finnish producer Sol:us, former L.A.O.S producer, with his take on ‘Perfect Symmetry (feat. Riya) - a liquid lovefest taken from fellow Finn’s Askel & Elere’s debut album on Soulvent titled ‘Simulations’. He breathes new life into the original with ascending, uplifting arpeggios and beefed-up drums, while letting Riya’s gorgeous vocals and heart-felt lyrics shine through. 

Landing in all good stores on Friday the 5th of September, this one is 10 years in the making!

Dualistic – Brave ft. Ayve Dualistic & Zazu - Beauty

Andreas Ort, otherwise known as Dualistic, came to our attention through some solid uploads recently supported by Liquicity. Having fired over these two epic tracks a few a months ago, we had no choice but to share them with you! Originally from Germany, Andreas is now based in the Netherlands and has knocked up two massive tunes; 'Brave' featuring Ayve and teamed up with Zazu for 'Beauty'.
'Brave' kicks off with Andreas' signature uplifting melodic textures and a glitchy build-up to give way to a deep rumbling bass and punchy drum lick. Ayve's haunting emotive tones sit perfectly atop this summer roller.
Working with Leiden-based neighbour Zazu for the A/B side, the pair deliver a solid minimal roller in Beauty. Opening with a reserved half-time intro, the track builds slowly into a cliff-hanging drop which doesn't disappoint. A swelling bassline blends with a solid amen break, soaring pads dressing the high end and a spacey yet simple descending melody to top it all off. Soulvent deliver a solid package in their 15th release, sure to shutdown more than the odd dancefloor this summer.
