About this EP : 
¨Botanique¨ is the name of the last release by Mondocane, a music alchemist who’s been shaking the Italian scene for the past twenty years. Always attracted by world music mixed with urban beats, he started releasing his original productions with a unique psychedelic/tribal twist mixed with slow techno, acid and acoustic sampling techniques.
¨Botanique¨ is a concept album dedicated to the wonderful world of plants, which are the first ever travelers on planet Earth. Every species with its own surviving strategy and its peculiarities can teach us so much like: how to survive our own destruction, how to cooperate with other humans and how to relate with the environment that surrounds us.  We would like to dedicate this album to the work of Italian botanist Stefano Mancuso and give it as a gift to all the people who enjoy these deep vibes, enjoy!

In some traditions, they are conceived as an aspect of deity. Yokha is a journey into the depths of the jungle, an invitation to a secret ritual. A spiritual union of energies between two souls connected through artistic creation. Conceived by Cyma and Janax Pacha, two sound artisans from South America who on this occasion immerse us in the rhythms of dances and melodic textures that, suspended like lianas, they dialogue harmoniously between the heat of the fire and the mysterious gazes of the jungle.

As one of the stellar releases of Cosmovision Records this year, a collaboration full of magic and colors. ➤ About this VA:
100 years ago the world lived in chaos. Huge wars between humans, as well as great advances in technology that changed forever the face of the world, a world that according to many artists, lived as a prisoner of the rational mind and that did not allow us humans to understand life and the Universe in its wide spectrum.

This is how, with its mystical origin in Dadaism, Surrealism was born. A movement that sought to explore and venture into the limits of the human mind through art. Initially literature, but also reaching the visual arts and so much more. Then decades later, the first psychedelic artists were born, much closer to music in its origins and who represented a rebellion against the established norms in the face of a world in chaos.

Today after 100 years, the scenario is complex again. There are wars, there is a technological revolution and the world is coming out of a great chaos caused by a virus that produced a great crisis. Can we perhaps learn something from the ideas of surrealism, to understand today's world?, remove ourselves from the entirely rational mind to which technology and the "information society" push us, to finally understand the world from an alternative perspective?

Making this compilation was a leap into the void, a mixture of psychic automatism and cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse) that ended with a very free, authentic and very fresh result, with the wonder of the unexpected, including very purely electronic songs, with ideas of techno and even psy trance, like other more tropical ones with psychedelic cumbia, of course others more pop and the others, those that are usually there in our music, the ones totally trippy.

We hope you enjoy this great compilation full of freedom and unusual ideas, which will help you connect with another world through music, rhythm and love, thank you eternally!

One evening, after a peaceful yoga session at home, I found myself immersed in the soothing sounds of “Mahal” by Glass Beams, with candles flickering around me. The calming vibe inspired me to add my own touch to the track, blending a bit of Afro rhythm while staying true to its original essence.

Cosmovision presents ¨Animals of the Earth ¨

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

This is the first, and probably not the last, of the Fairy Of The Lake of many colors. However much these nations differ about trifles, they all agree in liking fairy tales. The reason, no doubt, is that men were much like children in their minds long ago, long, long ago, and so before they took to writing newspapers, and sermons, and novels, and long poems, they told each other stories, such as you read in the fairy books. They believed that witches could turn people into beasts that could speak, that magic rings could make their owners invisible, and all the other wonders in the stories. Then, as the world became grown-up, the fairy tales which were not written down would have been quite forgotten but that the old grannies remembered them, and told them to the little grandchildren: and when they, in their turn, became grannies, they remembered them, and told them also. Think City, a duo on a spiritual path, takes us into their story of the heart, with the aim of making us feel the Oneness.  Their EP Sarangi is inspired by the Nepalese folk instrument of the same name, designed to spread messages. 

The title song Sarangi is a soulful, very traditional downtempo piece, in the center a melodic ballad with sounds from the Himalayas.  A promising mix of driving playfulness and hearty sounds.

In collaboration, Ben Eager and https://soundcloud.com/robingmusic constructed a perfect intro version of Sarangi, which many a DJ can be happy about.  Nevertheless, the remix is straight off, very driving, deep, dreamy, filled with plenty of percussive action and fresh plucked instruments on top.

Enter the Presence is clearly dominated by violins and all kinds of oriental instruments, which create a hypnotic effect.  Slow and deep this track flows along.

Quint S Ence has dug a little further in his interpretation and delivered an even deeper version.  Evil basses, groundbreaking vocals and wrapped up a little bit more melodic, a very fine number.

We composed this track to highlight the cry of distress from the jungle.
It was important for us to set this ecological emergency to music.
That’s why beyond the catchy and dancing side, solemnity and sadness emanate
from this track. Our animal totem is the Monkey and you will hear some of his cries. Human being are so close to him, we imagine the monkey as the jungle
spokesperson, trying to alert us when his home is dying…

" Yohana "  is a journey into the shadows of the jungle. The sound of these songs are heavily influenced from my first experience with Abuela Aya, where she came to me, in my mind and body, in the form of a serpent. She spoke to me, showed me her power, her essence, I felt her movement and heard her sound, and I connected deeply with her spirit.  I saw the shadow world that exists parallel to our reality everywhere, I learned that the energy of the shadows cannot be defined as good or bad but have their own unique power and influence on us.
