Soulogik is an artist who emerges from a small city, Maputo, in a seldom known country called Mozambique. Currently residing in the DMV for nearly 10 years now, he is an artist that has his mind set on spearheading a movement that has possibly never been seen before in hip-hop. Bridging the gap between the perils of the common African citizen to those of a hustler on any US street corner or just a struggling family anywhere, Soulogik pulls no punches when sharing his perspective. Also a victim of tough circumstances and aimless violence, he recognizes the negligence and culpability of the victimized masses as he does in himself, making his style personal and reflective. Far from being preachy or self-righteous, however, he is an honest writer with a natural knack for emceeing, even when it comes to braggadocio in your regular hip-hop jargon. 

Previous releases from Soulogik include his first video “Self Doubt,” and the collective effort with his group InVerse TangENT, The Reality Tape. Other than those releases, he has countless features on projects from artists all around the world.
