D-Funk... 'Europe '16 Tour Mix'

Recently I was looking through a cupboard in my studio & I came across a box full of old CDs. In there were mixes I’d done going all the way back to 2001! I chucked a few on whilst I was on a road trip & some of them are still in pretty good quality. So I’ve decided over the next few weeks I’ll upload the salvageable ones! 

The first one just had ‘The Back Room’ written on the sleeve. I’m pretty sure it was done as a promo mix for our old club night, Break Da House, showcasing the eclectic sounds of our back room. I think it was recorded around ’06 & it was all mixed on vinyl & my old Pioneer CDJ500.

One hour Daytoner DJ set in the Hong Kong Ping Pong Club at Leopallooza 2019 featuring some fave funk, soul and ska edits, a few of my own 'shedits' and an Apache themed ending. DJ Set at Leopallooza 2019

I recently played at a cracking festival in Perth called Breakfest alongside the likes of Krafty Kuts, A Skillz, Lady Waks, High Contrast, Martin Hørger, DJ Yoda, The Nextmen, Black & Blunt, Camo & Crooked & more! It was a great festival & highly recommended if you are in Australia on Boxing Day in 2013... Breakfest runs every Boxing Day just outside of Perth, Western Australia in one of the best festival venues in the world!  

Anyways I've put together the set I played on the day (minus a couple of track due to label/artist restrictions). Thanks to to everyone that came & rocked out whilst I was playing in the 40+ degree heat! I really enjoyed playing & working on this set which is nearly all new tunes. Most of which I will be giving way & releasing over the next few months.
