This latest edition of the AVA Mix Series is a biggie!

Yung Singh is an open format DJ. His sets can vary in genre from Garage to grime, old-school jungle and DnB expertly blended with Punjabi folk, nostalgic trance, hip-hop, and everything in between. 

Singh's set was a highlight from AVA in the Woods at All Together Now 2022 as well as our candle-lit New Year's Eve Party in London. This genre juggling legend will make his hotly anticipated Belfast festival debut at AVA this year – and this mix presents some of the flavours you can expect. DJ SKILLZ - RETURN OF THE 80S BABIES- 90S R&B

House encompasses many sub-genres and musical relations. We continue to draw inspiration from this melting pot, but like with all scenes, some of its constituent parts have fallen in and out of fashion. The Soulful side of House seems to be one of those sounds that isn't getting the kudos and attention it deserves. The main players behind the sound are quite rightly regarded as legends - names like Masters at Work, Blaze, Frankie Feliciano, Spen, Kerri Chandler, etc - but we are always shocked by how many house heads spot-check records we thought everyone surely must know. It made us think that perhaps there is a period of time that is full of amazing records that isn't getting featured. Maybe they are too recently released to be considered rare and / or exciting, or maybe it's the vocal element that has fallen out of favour. With this mix we have selected some of our favourites to show that there is a treasure trove of affordable records you need to own.
