The first instalment of 2015's The Sound of Glitterbox mix series comes courtesy of resident Joey Negro who will be joining us for the Opening Party alongside Todd Terry, Horse Meat Disco, The Revenge, Simon Dunmore and DJ Pippi. http://po.st/gbx1 

The incredible array of DJs and performers set to appear this summer include Hercules & Love Affair, Todd Terje, Julio Bashmore and Fatboy Slim alongside Glitterbox residents Joey Negro, Dimitri From Paris, Horse Meat Disco and Simon Dunmore.

The full roll-call now includes Louie Vega, Tensnake, Breakbot, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Aeroplane, Juan MacLean, The Revenge, David Morales, Kings Of Tomorrow, Claudio Coccoluto, Norman Jay, John Morales, FCL, Tim Deluxe, Lovebirds, DJ Pippi, Smokin’ Jo, Heller & Farley, Mousse T, The Shapeshifters, Luke Solomon, Purple Disco Machine, Copyright, DJ Antz, Mr Doris and Mo’ Funk.

In addition to what is already one of the strongest and most eclectic Ibiza line-ups of the season, this year will see new creative elements added to the event, overseen by Glitterbox Creative Director, Mark Herman. TradeMark, aka UK artist, Mark Wardel, has designed the stunning new Glitterbox artwork, while masterminding the performance side, club collective Savage will consist of three different dance crews (Sink The Pink, Hot Heels & Nutbags) who will all bring their own unique energy to the night.

Music is not just music, it's a way of life for Ben since he was born in 1988. Music always had a grip on Ben. He was dancing to the old Motown records from his parents as a little boy, and always busy adjusting the equalisers on the stereo. At the age of 18 he finally took the step and bought his first Dj-gear.

A journey through different  genres started... Commercial electro &amp; house in the beginning, then progressive and back to house. After a couple of years he found 'his' music. Nowadays it's deep, smooth sounds combined with grooving and moving beats. Don't expect only one style of music, but rather a mix of different ones. From very deep house to tech and even a touch of funky house. NOT the main stream electronic dance music.

Just music you won't hear, unless you go underground...

Recently Ben took his first steps in the hard world of producing. Like every producer, he's trying to find his own style. His first EP is a combination of deep and atmospheric house, but still dancefloor minded. If you want to hear more tracks from Soultricks in the future, just keep an eye on him.
