The concept of MindViews is improvisational emotional ambient modular creations recorded straight to tape with zero editing and zero computer use. Musical thoughts and views into my mind. These are recorded in one take and the arrangements are done on the fly! Embracing risk, vulnerability and happy mistakes 🙂 These are not polished and def are not perfect but honestly that is what is beautiful about it. I hope you enjoy ❤️

Uplifting, emotive, and impassioned - Soulular's third EP released via Gravitas Recordings, "Heartblast", is an admirable exhibition of what bass music can be. Each song is a perfectly crafted blend of both beauty and groove, lending themselves as the soundtrack to both late night and early morning atmospheres. Always one to push his own boundaries, Jeff Laos shows off his years of study and practice throughout the seven track free/pay-what-you-want album. 

Starting strong, "Heartblaster" combines chopped vocals and a retro lead into a soothing yet bouncy package. "Touch" goes a bit deeper, boasting meticulous, psychedelic sound design. The rigid basslines in both "Existence" and "Icaro" give each track a hype feel without subtracting from the melodic elegance. Closing out the album is "Believer", a sultry tune filled with swaying arpeggiation and supple synth work.

Very stoked to share this set with you all!!  It was seriously a dream come true to be able to perform at lightning in a bottle on a main stage!!  Inside this mix is a whole bunch of new unreleased tracks as well as Live guitar and a tasty selection of analog dub effects and all original Music!  Filled with many Beautiful imperfections that improvisational music brings to add to the overall character of the sound!  I am proud of the progression i have made to get to this point and it makes me very excited for the future!!  I really hope you enjoy!!

Recognize

Here is my set from The Grove this year at Shambhala Music Festival.  What a dream come true to return to the farm in Salmo, BC and to one of my fav places on the planet!  Much Love to the whole Grove Fam for everything!  I hope to return again for a third time very soon! 
 Very very stoked to finally share all of this music.  This is a mere Glimpse into all the music i am sitting on and most i plan to release.  also a bit of a leap in styles and progress in production techniques!  There are 30 unreleased tracks up in here and i really love the journey they take you on, so I really hope you enjoy!

Here is my Live set from The Earth Stage at the Oregon Eclipse Gathering on Thursday August 17th, 2017.  Sunset vibes from 8:15 to 9:30pm on a massive Funktion-one Soundsystem.  Had so much fun performing this, it was truly a highlight in my life.  Thank you to the event producers and all the people that were present for this moment and to all that listen currently!  Also Huge shoutout to Auric Medicine for their epic performance along with this set, Truly made it magic!
