Captain Mustache is a French music producer and DJ from Paris.
Since 2020, he made releases on some of the greatest labels of the scene: Kompakt, Mobilee, Exploited, Permanent Vacation, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, and a full album on John Digweed's Bedrock Records, with a constant support from the best DJ's in the world.
As a true electronic music lover, he worked with some electro idols (Dave Clarke, Chicks on Speed, Adamski, The Advent, Paris The Black Fu, Keith Tucker from AUX88...) to bring an extra vocal dimension to his music.
Inspired by 80's pioneers, Detroit techno and electroclash, we can define his sound as romantic & burlesque.

PROMO SHEET 2022

Captain Mustache started in 2020, with a first EP released on Canadian label My Favorite Robot Records, including a song featuring the super band CHICKS ON SPEED. "Mentally Naked" was played by the late Andrew Weatherall on his last radio show, a beautiful and sad recognition that contributed to the success of this release.

After this came a 12" EP on Dutch imprint Bordello A Parigi, with the song "Special Friend" featuring PLAY PAUL (known for his releases on Gigolo and Kitsuné). This one has been played by Jennifer Cardini in a live stream for ARTE TV, attracting spotlights on this project.

Some weeks later, a new EP "How Come U Know" came on label Electronic Emergencies from Rotterdam, including songs with ADAMSKI (the one and only, who did the world smash hit "Killer" feat. Seal in 1990) and LINDA LAMB.

Still in 2020, the track "Black Light" was released on Jennifer Cardini's imprint CORRESPONDANT (Compilation 08), acclaimed by French magazine Tsugi.

In 2021, consecration came with a 12" release on legend label KOMPAKT Records. "Everything" feat. Play Paul is an instant success, with a more dancefloor sound, receiving support and congratulations from techno stars like Adriatique, Mano Le Tough, Marc Romboy...

Same month, the Captain striked again with the single "Bleu Ciel" on another great label, BEDROCK Records from superstar DJ John Digweed. He mixed then on Digweed's radio show Transitions, which is one of the biggest in dance music scene - with a weekly audience of 14 million people in 45 countries.

Following month, a first LP "Tourbillon Nocturne" was released on US label Science Cult (in a double 12" deluxe package). Focused on electro sound, this contains collaborations with the techno baron DAVE CLARKE and Detroit legend KEITH TUCKER from AUX88. To talk about this album, Captain Mustache was invited on first French national radio FRANCE INTER.

Following month again, came up a 12" EP on HELENA HAUFF's label Return To Disorder. "Floorwax EP" features Paris The Black Fu (from Detroit Grand Pubahs) and Foremost Poets on vocals.

End of 2021, a second LP in the year was released on John Digweed's Bedrock Records. "Indigo Memories" is the most important release of the Captain. A 10 track album on such a massive label is a great achievement for the French artist.

2022 was a very productive year, with an unusual amount of 15 releases & remixes. It started with a free remix of Fatima Yamaha's classic "What's A Girl To Do", gaining instant success with thousands of plays and downloads on SoundCloud.

Then came "Good Weather Girl", a new collab with Chicks on Speed on label PERMANENT VACATION, coming with remixes by Joyce Muniz, Lauer, Zombies In Miami, Maelstrom and speaKwave (aka dynArec). Joyce Muniz remix reached 100K plays on Spotify the first year.

One of the highlights of the year was "La Nuit", a song in collaboration with French techno star POPOF released on iconic label MOBILEE. This one is played by superstar DJs like David Guetta, Paul Van Dyk, Claptone...

The Captain arrived on label EXPLOITED with 3 outputs for the year. First was the song "Monkey Brains" featuring Ulysses, then a remix for French band O.N.O, and a new collab with Popof called "Bastille".

In the summer, Bedrock released "Indigo Memories Remixes" with new versions of Captain's album by Kiko, Zoo Brazil, Marc DePulse and speaKwave.

After that came "Computer Monkey", a 12" record featuring UK techno pioneer THE ADVENT on French label Les Yeux Orange, including remixes by DMX Krew and Legowelt.

The year finished with the single "Catch Me" featuring singer Davina (author of the timeless classic "Don't You Want It" produced by "Mad" Mike Banks and released on Underground Resistance), coming with remixes by Detroit techno icons ROLANDO and SCAN 7.

We can also notice a 12" release on French label ACID AVENGERS, a remix for Adamski & house pioneer Robert Owens, another remix on Australian label MOTORIK, also another one on Marc DePulse's label JEAHMON...

For 2023, several releases are already planned on Bedrock, Marc Romboy's Systematic, Bordello A Parigi... and a new album on a massive label. Stay tuned!

Dearest has been singing her entire life and slowly began her DJ career in 2012, notibly playing Main Stage at Konnexion Music Festival 2023, as well as opening for Headliners such as DJ Bl3nd, Sleepsleep, & Aaron Jackson. You can usually catch her blending a multitude of House genres, with Tech-House and Bass-House being her favorite, but her sound ranges anywhere from House to Techno, Breakbeats, Drum N' Bass, and even some Bass music. She has released 2 professional vocal collaborations world-wide on Knowledge Records, Twisted Shuffle Records (Housepital Records), & Beatport which you can catch her playing in some of her live sets.

With multiple new projects in the works and a profound excitement for bringing people together on the dance floor, Dearest is more inspired than ever to spread some magic and touch the world with her music.

Soul Velocity is a Boise based Producer / DJ with 16+ yrs of music production under his belt. His sound consist of Tech House & Breakbeat structures with developed Minimal and Electro influences. Modular-Techno and psychedelic overtones create tension along with spacey effect builds that will keep you guessing and dancing. 

Expect to hear tracks in my mixes from myself and Labels such as: TAT, Dirtybird, iSH, House Of Hustle, Spoon Fed Recods, Box of Cats, Artichokes Are Yellow, Rules Don’t Apply, Wonky Wrecords and other underground varieties.
