Anagiso, a Kannada original single, is a romantic musical which draws a musical analogy to express the romance between two people. 
The lyricist has beautifully used metaphors including swaraas, alaapana and taala in Indian classical music to explain what he intends to convey through the song.

English translation of the lyrics:

The teasing silence convey feelings which have come together just like the swaras of a Raga.

And these feelings have got the song of love written without themselves singing a word.
The heart beats of the vision are just like sa – ri – ga – ma – pa in a swara,

They have touched the soul and have scribbled soft words which is forming the Stanza of this poem.

The alApana of love that is oozing out from the shut lips

Is like the imitiation of the raga that is propogating in the song of love.

The unknown closeness that the love has brought is like the flowing lines of the poem;

And the tAla’s eagerness is in the favour of the blooming song

The mind has lost itself for the unheard raga

And the uncontrollable happiness these things have brought is the moment of love to stay

The Obscure love is so strong that it has forced the words to melt.

Andin the feet of the words the desires of the love are impregnated.

In the loosened closeness the desires are shy

The knowledge that is eager to be acquired is covered by the blanket of time

There is a lot of happiness hidden in the unspoken talks

And the meaning of the unheard language is a truth I realized.

This is an original song, an anthem to be precise, done to promote the causes of Aviratha Trust, an NGO based out of Bangalore. I am so happy to have played a part in this project for a noble cause. The song was recorded and mixed in the year, 2010.

I have always adored the Lata - Madan Mohan duo and the magic they have created in their songs. This song is based on Charukeshi raga and the Chromatics (as in "Machegi Jhankaaar...") adds to the beauty of the song.
