The Wood Thrush has such a singular, almost robotic-sounding song, and was one of the first I encountered when I started listening to birds. In this recording two thrushes can be heard, in conversation or competition with one another.

Black-and-white Warbler song - Tivoli Bays WMA, Tivoli, NY

A Marsh Wren sings from low down in the reeds flanking one of the channels that run through the Tivoli Bays Wildlife Management Area. Dozens of bird species visit these wetlands and the surrounding area—warblers, herons, sandpipers, flycatchers and gulls can all be heard alongside the low croaking of northern Green Frogs.
