Audrey Danza is a Swiss DJ, producer, and label head of Proxima, as well as a resident at Motel Campo. With an instinct for sculpting immersive, psychedelic soundscapes, she channels the full emotional breadth of electronic music into both her performances and productions. Her DJ sets weave shadowy textures with a raw, magnetic energy—navigating effortlessly through contrasting emotional states.

Her debut EP Flora Formulas received widespread praise, laying the foundation for a production style rooted in storytelling and sonic exploration. With numerous projects on the horizon, Audrey continues to blur the lines between DJ, producer, and curator. Whether lighting up iconic venues like Panorama Bar, Circoloco, Robert Johnson, and Fabric, or festivals such as Nuits Sonores and Pitch Music & Arts, or making music in the studio, she crafts experiences designed to linger—subtle in their power and rich in feeling.

The Texan prodigy transmits the sound of sci-fi techno in 2026.

What does the future feel like in 2026? In an era dominated by nostalgia and electronic revivalism, even techno—a genre once defined by futurism—has begun to feel stagnant. Enter Gautham Garg, aka Decoder. Raised in Dallas, the 21-year-old offers a refreshed vision of techno for the present moment.

While comparisons to techno stargazers like Mills and Richie Hawtin are inevitable, RA.1023 reveals a broader palette. Microtonal flourishes recall Aleksi Perälä’s Colundi era, while the patient structures lean closer to Perlon-style minimalism than early-2000s severity, with nods to Ricardo Villalobos and Margaret Dygas.

Built largely from unreleased material, RA.1023 captures Garg’s vision of techno for this decade. There’s weight, but it’s more body than bite: elastic, finely tuned drums and a buoyant hypnotism that persists even in rougher moments. Though often labeled sci-fi, Garg’s sound adds layers to cold futurism—instead, optimism shines through. In his hands, techno’s future still feels bright.

Swinging by with her debut RYC transmission this week is Giegling affiliate and Blitz resident jockey Yamour, a DJ who blends the finest of classic Chicago house joints with Detroit style churners to decisively compelling effect. Showing a particularly deft hand for building soulful sonic narratives with a truly hypnotic edge to them, Yamour digs far and deep into heritage grooves and newly released heaters to form her own floor-focussed musical alphabet, bridging hypnagogic house, eclectic machine funk and muscular techno dubs throughout complex, intricately woven tableaux. Never quite where you’d expect to find her at, cutting her own singular path away from formulaic criterions and run-of-the-mill genre-boundness. A joy to hear from start to finish, Yamour’s versatility blazes with every bar and every beat, writing its own idiosyncratic chapter in the big book of electronic music with unparalleled swagger and chemistry. Hectic.
