Tijuana's disco top dogs <3 the two Señores responsible for throwing some of the most solid parties we've had the pleasure of being part of in Mexico. Coming from backgrounds of true musicianship, organic sounds clearly have a special place in their hearts, paying homage to the golden age foundations of dancefloor music when studio musicians inhabited recording studios. A lush selection of pre-MIDI wealth with some early synth and drum machine nuances skillfully mixed in this beautiful weekend kickstarter package.
Oro Negro is a duo formed by Das Falco and More Lotion ; musicians, DJs, designers, and producers from Tijuana. Active since 2014 with a selection leaning toward dance tracks produced between 1977 and 1993, they have managed to position themselves in the electronic music party circuit on both sides of Mexico's northern border. Co-Founders of Discoteca Seducción, residents of Marko Disko (2022), and also residents of the mythical Sunday Sunday party, Oro Negro are no strangers to a tasteful dancefloor. Tijuana Strong.
