"The mix was recorded after playing at the Outburst Stage (where the DJ booth was built around a big oak tree in the middle) at Houghton Festival. Rarely has an experience DJing at a festival has [left] me still reflecting the energy days after, and I wanted to capture that and tell the story in short in its own twists and turns."

The mix was recorded after our one-off Bionda e Lupo live concert on occasion of the best NDW album of the past 25 years - La Deutsche Vita.

For my closing set I took over from Riccardi Schola, who graced our premiere by playing Tränen In Der Nacht four times that night. -  According to him due to the fact that he was confused by the 4 sides of the new record and not at all due to the Spritz he was enjoying with relish throughout the night.
BTW Riccardi's very own and second solo EP will be out soon on a private press 7" sparkling with two Italo songs.
My selection I played from vinyl however is all over Europe and Canada. - Although ... I can sense a certain French touch of mid 80's synth pop before I shift the energy to my obscure Neue Deutsche Welle edits.
I remember the elevating feeling to see one of my favorite DJ's Cid Hohner, dancing with his unmatched smile on his face during the last 30 minutes of this night.

Seoul based record collector, DJ and Edit maker of various genres from around the world. His 8,90s based Balearic, Downtempo, RNB, House vibes mixes have been played over the years on Radio TNP(NL), Operator Radio(NL), Amok Radio(LU), Rocket Radio(IT), EHFM(UK), Pinata Radio(FR), Radio 80000(GE) and Bangkok Community Radio(TH), etc…
Released under his alter-ego, TUCAN DISCOS, the edit series made his name known to DJs, musicians and the music lovers all around world(his edits has been played from Moxie, Paula Tape, Kamma & Masalo, Ivan Smagghe, Bradley Zero, Heels & Souls and many more…), Also a compilation album containing his edit tracks was released from the beginning of Brazilian label <Bongosynth> in September 2022, <Les Yeux Orange>,  <Stereo Ferment> and many more. Based on this move, he played at Radio TNP’s event during ADE in 2022, and was invited as a main guest from <Hotel 727> of Almaty, <Bad Time Disco> of Hong Kong, <Soma Summer> of Moscow, <Toytonics Jam> of Berlin and <Wonderfruit> of Bangkok.  
On the other side, he had an experience to work as a communicator/editor with <Discogs> for the Korean records market, promoting the local underground music scene to the record community of around the world through Discogs over the past few years.
