Sound of Drowning/S.o.D, aka Ollie Cash, is a Liverpool mainstay. 

The creative driving force behind PLUSH, S.o.D. has been organising events in the Liverpool for over five years, releasing a variety of electronic dance music productions, and DJing across all the clubs, parties, and warehouses alike!

With this mix, originally from July 2022, S.o.D. captured the energy of that first Summer out of lockdown, the growing PLUSH parties, Outlook UK festival that same month, and the b2b set that he was preparing for with Luna Thee Frenchie!

In the mix, you will find an exploration through a 160 mashup of Footwerk, Electro, Breaks, Trance, Jungle, Techno, as well as a fierce collection of original productions from S.o.D. thrown in for good measure!

Showcasing the sound of PLUSH on this collaborative record, two of Liverpool's underground pioneers join forces for a multi genre release featuring PLUSH residents & friends 🍭 

" The overarching concept is a limited vinyl series documenting Liverpool's surviving club culture focusing on nights that get them crowds using local talent. It’s not easy to do but when it’s achieved the vibe is tangible. " MACHINE

Kicking off side one of the record is Lucy Grey with her track False Belief. As the title suggests, one perception is pulled from underneath our feet and the truth shall stand bare with hypnotic, deep loops 🌙 

Next up is DJ Sweetspot with their track Beyond Binaries. Sweetened with beginner's charm, Sweetspot's first release is catatonic in its execution 💗 

Then, flipping into side two, All Trades & S.o.D. switch the vibe into overdrive. Working at a relatively slower tempo than both are used to, yet retaining the sonic qualities and depth both producers are known for, Cracks is the name of this track 🌪 

W-I is the MC on Cracks, the PLUSH vibe pusher. He captured PLUSH's journey throughout 2022, highlighting the people, places, and team that made that year possible. All Trades, S.o.D. & W-I have perfectly reflected the PLUSH vibe into this stonking, banging track 🎤 

And, to close out the record, with a BANG, the founders of PLUSH have their much awaited polly drought is over tune released on this record. S.o.D. & DJ X-TRAKT's Electro Beast Machine💥
