Spectral is a 23 year old DJ / Producer specialising in all things deep, dark and minimal, drawing influence from labels such as Flexout Audio, Dispatch Recordings and 1985 Music. She has since gained recognition from UKF with 2 features in 2020, and is an artist in EQ50's mentorship programme as the Critical Music mentee for 2020-2021.  With her debut EP expected later this year and plans to open the Critical Stage for Hospitality Weekend in the Woods in September 2021, the only way is up for this creative force.

The new dream team collaboration of Survival and Script stride into the Horizons Music camp with a smattering of low end driven Drum & Bass.

Later displays SCAR's ability to delve into some of the furthest depths of what Drum & Bass has to offer. Almost industrial in its delivery, this villainous track pushes forward with a grinding groove accompanied by unrelenting sub bass and gnarled synth jabs. Think of this track as the tamed Minotaur in your collection.

Fair Game

Tenacious and intensive, Fair Game possesses the perfect qualities of a true dance-floor roller. Tight drums combined with ferocious bass hits propel the track on an outing that exhibits the fully-fledged sound of Drum & Bass coming correct.

Razor sharp reeses combined with sub rattling bass, this moody anthem shakes the foundation with its sheer depth. The real pressure emerges with a high passed amen break, topping this off as a true rhythm for the heads.


2. Waiting
808 bass hits interacting with an off-kilter syncopated blippy melody set the focal point as the two step beat holds the reins. Atmospheric with a hint of techno in it’s progressive arrangement, ‘Waiting’ contains the perfect amount of energy levels that are essential in a deep, yet effective tune. 

3. Therapy
Rounding off this 3 track EP - ‘Therapy’, weighs in with a dub laden groove, matched with a laid back mixture of acidic bass synths,  delay laden piano chops, wood-block hits and a rich textural background atmosphere.

The Exit Records camp have been in alias mode of late, from the self-titled ‘The Binary Collective’ album to Kid Drama’s Mikarma album; new avenues for creativity have been secured via new aliases which brings us to Module Eight.
Five like-minded beat makers; dBridge, Kid Drama, Skeptical, Loxy and Resound- all revered in their own right, who decided to form a project that unified their individual tastes, a long player that makes statement about their tastes about Drum & Bass and how it can be viewed. 
As always with Exit Records the material is future forward in its aesthetic whilst the production is detail driven but always club ready.
