VELEZ&PARADA is proud to release their official set from their Chicago debut at the internationally-renowned queer venue Hydrate, in partnership with The Vixen for her new party "BLAQUELIGHT."

Musically, the set is the second portion of a six hour journey, with an emphasis on fierce and soulful house music.

We are proud to release the third and final portion of our second series, comprised of live sets that reflect the evolution of our sound and moments in live gigs that reflect the core essence of VELEZ&PARADA.

This set was recorded live at our June 22' Pride NYC B4PLAY residency. It explores a wide arc of sound that emphasizes funk, tech house, and soul. The set also features music from live performances that we integrated throughout the party experience. Enjoy!

The Black Light Disco Show burst onto the My House Radio airwaves again on Monday 6th March - putting our steel capped boots on to aggressively kick Monday in the nutsack and spread a little peace and love in the world. 

Taking us on this sonic journey of discovery and wonder are our disco glazed residents from Wrexham, Pookie Knights! 

The boys have been particularly busy this week  - clearing the old big speakers and glitter balls out of the festival toilet on the 14th floor of BLD Towers. We gave them some respite and time out over the weekend to put together their show for today and they didn’t disappoint. 

Carefully curated tracks from the likes of Reece Johnson, St Jude and Mark Whites will have you foot tappin and finger popping. Yeah? Yeah!

a Ghost of a Chance with You (La Huida)

"Boca Na Água" emerges as a connecting point between Brazilian culture and the current electronic music scene. The track, already tested on major stages such as Ritual Stage at Surreal Park, B.O.M.A, Colmeia at Green Valley, Tetto Rooftop, and others, features excerpts from the iconic Rita Lee, a figure who transformed Brazilian music since the late 1970s.

The vocals, rescued from "Mania de Você" (1979), bear the mark of a time when Rita expanded her aesthetic, approaching pop and disco, without abandoning the boldness that made her famous. By inserting it into an electronic context, the production not only pays homage but also reopens this gesture of rupture and freedom.

The result is a track that escapes predictability: Brazilian in essence, global in reach. "Boca Na Água" asserts itself as a work that doesn't repeat formulas, but rather clearly weaves memory and the present.
