For our fifteenth release we are pleased to introduce Selva debut’s on GLBDOM with Duffel Bags EP.
Selva is producer and occasional DJ hailing from Merida, México who produces a sample based house sound for both home and club use on his old computer.
This EP is a house incursion into the old school hip-hop subculture and sampling techniques. Jazz and soul loops and cuts vandalized with urban noise and covered in dazed out synths. Some tracks are aggressively energetic like the opener "Duffel Bags" and the East coast styled "NY1994", while others like "Electric Sheep" and "Sampled Dream" offer mellower grooves for easy listening.

This is SNGVA003, the third compilation from Sengiley Recordings, featuring fresh breakbeat and drums cuts, produced by new and established artists from around world. 

@dylandylanmusic gets things started with a slice of deep, UKG style beats, @marcbrauner & @jimbomack collaborate and make a continuation of the UKg vibe with a German flavour, followed by @foreachlt with a serious dose of uplifting breakbeat business. @togethrs produces some sublime drum & bass sounds, and @minorsineproject brings us vibey, acid breaks. @financialbanker supplies some atmospheric, laid back rhythms, followed by @norusmusic & @djwhiprsnipr who drop a powerful chunk of bassline orientated material. @withheldmusic brings the heat with an extended, melodic breakbeat excursion and lastly, @florianstuetzer winds things down with a deep and blissful track that serves up luscious pads and ingenious rhythms. Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes Joca to the main label with his new three-track release, Into The Darkness. Based in Victoria, Canada, the producer first appeared within the Sound Avenue family in 2023 through the Three Of A Kind series on 3rd Avenue, a debut rooted primarily in organic house. Since then he has contributed several remixes for artists such as Elliot Moriaty and blondewearingblack, RossAlto, Fabian Ballino and Umannto, while also appearing on respected imprints including Kodai, Be Adult Music, Nordic Voyage Recordings, Stellar Fountain and our own Future Avenue. With this new EP he reveals another side of his artistry, showing a clear versatility as he shifts toward a deeper and darker progressive house sound.

With Night Movers, Whisper of the Shadow and Cells Interlinked, Joca presents a refined and atmospheric EP shaped around mood, pacing and carefully sculpted groove. Each track sits firmly within the realm of deep progressive house, carrying a sense of tension and quiet movement, balancing deep textures with restrained melodic detail. His ability to weave shadowed tones into warm, flowing structures gives the EP a clear identity, one that aligns naturally with the Sound Avenue sound.

In addition to his work as a producer, Joca has also contributed behind the scenes as part of the 3rd Avenue A&R team from time to time. Into The Darkness marks an important moment in his evolution, offering a focused and cohesive chapter that highlights both his creative growth and his connection to the label group.
