Dear friends, we are so proud to present our beloved Niño Amarillo and this epic offering to us all!
It’s hard to put into words just how special this Mexican producer and DJ is both as a gifted creator and a truly cherished friend, in a country overflowing with talent.

We’ve known him since his very first works, and not only do we love each one, but we’ve always found his music to be deeply original and full of soul.
(And yes, we have to say it: Kevin is also a motorbike champion in Mexico and we think that’s absolutely amazing)

Drawing inspiration from ancient Mayan cultures and their sounds, Niño Amarillo delivers a powerful, unique creation, a track we love deeply and are thrilled to now share with the world.

Tantra means the indestructible continuity that lies as the very basis for every moment of consciousness , it's the basis for every content of experience. Just like the sky is the basis for sunshine, clouds and rain. Consequently, nothing escapes being part of the big play, the mahamaya of life. Tantra is like the soft kiss between the bee and the flower, between the dew drop and the first ray of the morning sun, between your consciousness, the sunlit space and the openness that knows, and the moment of experience. It is the soft kiss that takes the form of hearing a sound. The knowing and the sound are indivisible and in this indivisibility there is magic. This magic is the tantra of the timeless moment - O'mnipresencia !
It’s beyond. It’s transcendental and it’s ourselves, whether we know it or not.

This tantra is the reality of the living moment of consciousness. It’s infinite, whether we know it or not. It’s the great mystery, whether we know it or not. It is like this, already. It has has nothing to do with achievement, but with acknowledging what is: that the present moment is wonderful, mystical, infinite. Acknowledging that it’s beyond any concept we can connect it with or any label we can attach.

We are mystical, transcendental, wonderful beings. Not just us human beings, but everyone, even the tiniest insect, the goldsmith, the mosquito, the little fly. Every moment in every sentient being’s life is simply amazing. This amazing mystery is the very core, the very heart, of the real tantra of experienced life. It has nothing to do with being a Buddhist or a tantric practitioner, but the tantric teachings explains this so clearly: how reality is for everyone, for you, me and for all other sentient beings.

Tantra is in the present moment, in the soft kiss of experience. Here the unity of space and knowingness are indivisible. It is here, in the center of our natural mandala, that we acknowledge this.

We would like to thank all the artists who gave birth to the O'mnipresencia project and who contributed with amazing musical interpretation and inspiration, shaping it's essence with spirit of a mystical transcendental journey.

Following the release of his debut album last year, 2022, London-based producer On Man is back with his new remix album High Crystal due April 14th via Houndstooth.

The record features reworks of tracks from his debut LP from artists such as Mogwai, Salamanda, Katie Gately, Lotic, The Bug, Throwing Snow, Hodge & more.

On Man’s creative roots lie deep. An artist with a unique gift for sound design, he’s able to conjure perfect pop songs and then corrode them, revealing the emotional truths underneath. An electronic artist with a human touch, he’s worked in the studio for an array of other artists, as well as delivering huge cinematic soundtrack projects, all while pursuing his own solitary agenda.

On Man’s eponymous debut album was his graduation point, a record framed by grief, the loss of identity, and the process of rediscovery and came out last year via Houndstooth. The songs have now been reworked by a number of notable artists for his album High Crystal.

The Procyon II team are very proud to bring you PRCN001: 'Wave Artifice' - Naarm local AJ Walker's second EP and the maiden release for the Procyon II label. Releasing May 5th 2023. 

AJ returns with bag of sonic goodies to take you a journey through the galaxy and back. With a propensity for driving low-end grooves, snappy percussion and laser-like acid-licks leaving no surprises, this release has seen him venture down new avenues of sound design creating nebulous pad sections and synth harmonies to lose yourself in on a dusty dance-floor in the bush.

3 recent cuts, 'Wave Artifice', 'Polybius' and 'Astra-Technique' showcase the last 6-months or so of AJ's trip into the esoteric and aims to capture that otherworldly feeling you might get while staring into the liminality of space on a clear night.
'Blue Shell Boogie', written in 2021 is an ode to everyones favourite N64 classic. Sitting dormant on a backup disc since and finally finding a home on the Procyon II imprint.

It's house, it's trance, it's a bit prog and it's Mario Kart 64 - it's Wave Artifice.

With his next LP titled 'Extacy' on the way in early summer 2023 - Swedish born, London based producer Hans Berg presents a forerunning single from the record which comes backed up with remixes from Efdemin and Psyk.

'Elevate' is an elastic, analogue piece which carries a distinctly live character. It's rubbery drums and warping tones are neatly packed into a beautifully structured rework from Efdemin which sets high-frequency sonics darting over a deep, oceanic bed.

The LP's opener 'Sky' blooms with its broad-stroking sweeps, metallic flickers and fractal FX. The Madrid based producer Psyk then takes these elements and puts them through a concrete mixer which results in altogether more marching and heavy tone.

After three years, UrbnMowgli resurfaces with his EP on his own imprint, Emotional Voyage. With ‘Ancient Knowledge Transmission’ he fuses cascading drum machine rhythms with rapid-fire basslines, acidic sequences, whimsical leads and chopped sample bits to create otherworldly rave relics. A solid blend from video game characteristics to shaking club rhythms.

The four-track EP drifts between moody Lynchian atmospheres and menacing beat drops. More than tracks, these are playful yet meticulous journeys, sculpted with wide spatial depth, teleporting the listener into futuristic electro breakbeat. This production definitely got all dust off the synths and shows once more his versatility of UrbnMowgli’s hybrid approach inviting you into a realm of internal imagery.
